Quality Inn & Suites Garden Of The Gods

This is a broken down dump that is no better than a motel. This should be rated as a 1 star hotel at best. A Super 8 or Motel 6 would have been a major upgrade. The entire hotel wreaked of smoke including marijuana. People were smoking in the stair wells and in every doorway and the staff knew all about it. The hotel room doors are old and all look like rough plywood painted flat white. The door locks were all broken or damaged. All of the strike plates were missing screws or not attached to the door frame at all. The doors had such a large gap you could see past the doorway into the hallway and people in the hall could see into the rooms with the door closed. All of the doors barely latched at all. I have no doubt a good hard shove would open any door in this hotel. We changed rooms twice and all of them were in this condition. The best room they had was still in terrible condition. The room had broken furniture — literally coming apart and pieces falling off — doors and drawers were stuck and would not open. There was peeling wallpaper everywhere I looked with what looked like mold behind it in some places. There were unpatched holes all over the walls. And even the best room still smelled of smoke. We would have left if it were not a non-​refundable prepaid room. We called the booking agent and asked to be moved. We were stuck. I would never stay in this hotel again under any circumstances.

Decent rooms and ok breakfast. But if you’re checking in at night, don’t expect the man who looks like he just crawled out of a dirty igloo to give you customer service with a smile. Don’t know if it was a bad day for him or if he’s normally just that rude? Huffed and puffed when I asked him some simple questions then did it again and rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a receipt. Was nice enough to say thank you for receipt and he didn’t say a word, winced and looked away from me. Who hired this guy?

On a much needed vacation for two weeks, could not be happier with quality inn garden of the gods. They have been very accommodating to all of our needs including housekeeping whenever we needed it, information on surrounding things to-​do, fresh coffee at all times in the lobby (a huge plus), a daily full great breakfast with eggs, sausage, and even a waffle maker in the mornings, and not to mention there is a chick fil a that I can see out of our window– this stay has been wonderful. The room is clean and comfortable. Brittany at the front desk has been very, very nice and helpful as well as housekeeping. We will definitely be back when we visit CO again :)

Stayed at a pretty terrible hotel in Colorado Springs last year, so we decided to stay at the Quality Inn. The lobby was very clean and the staff was friendly. We had a double suite which was great for my husband, myself and our 2 kids. There were 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed along with 2 double beds. The room was clean and offered us a lot of space. They do have a free breakfast but we didn’t take advantage. When we were checking out, the woman working the from desk on 11÷28÷15 around 11am also informed us that she had cleaned off our car that morning, which was a fantastic surprise. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Colorado Springs.

My mom and I stayed here one night after visiting garden of the gods and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was much more than expected with fresh eggs and sausage and a magical pancake making machine, and the room was quiet and clean and had a decent view. We found the room on priceline app for a really great price. I’d recommend this hotel for the price and value.

Definitely will not stay here again. Infer structure needs major attention, water pressure low, drain piping slow, wifi goes in and out not a consistent signal. Our last day my wife found a pair of socks, not ours, under the A/​C. At least they appeared to be clean!

Decent hotel but definitely not worth the $ 400 for only two nights! The pool is practically in the parking lot which I found a bit awkward. My room had old soap left by previous visitors in the shower, a straw and cup thrown on the floor and a few light bulbs out. The breakfast isn’t all that and its jam packed with people! Although the beds were comfy and the air conditioner kept the room fresh; this is not my first choice for a hotel.

This hotel was the only bad part of our stay in Colorado Springs.
So the entire hotel is non smoking, and I’m assuming that the person who stayed in our room before us must have been chain smoking (and possibly peeing on the carpets) because everytime we opened the door we were overwhelmed by the most disgusting smell of burning, urine, and chemicals that seemed to be trying to cover it up. It was really bad.
The carpet was also wet when we came in and remained wet throughout our stay. It was like being in a damp smelly cave.
I give two stars because they have other good reviews so I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But really it was pretty messed up for them to actually place someone in that room.

We had a two_​room suite which is pretty hard to find and the stay was fine but what really impressed is was the staff. Reggie went above and beyond to try to help us find an item we thought we’d left but it turned out we had.

We’re here for a three night stay, so these are my first impressions on our arrival day. The gentleman at check in was friendly and the lobby was clean and inviting. They have a large display of chilled water with no signage. I naïvely thought this implied they were complementary. When we asked I learned they were a $ 1.50. I found that a bit deceptive.
The room is a bit dated and has poor lighting, but appears clean and in good condition. We were given a code for free internet. Unfortunately the internet connects but does not work.
Slept great! The place was quiet overnight and the bed was comfortable.
The bathroom is really very nice … bigger then I expected. Decent water pressure and very nice towels.
The got breakfast is so nice … make yourself waffles, biscuits, pastries, and lots more. I appreciated the large, sunny room for eating.
Upon our return from touring, our room was really clean, beds turned down and clean towels. I especially appreciated that the room remained air conditioned in our absence (got near 100 degrees today).
During our stay the tub started to back up to the point that by the end of our shower we were standing in ankle deep water. Even after a phone call, the problem persisted into the next day.

The problem with me coming in at 3am to check in is that the night staff of most hotels are the most introvert people. They hate talking to you and aren’t the cheery happy staff most people get during the day. With that said, I expected that and that is what I got. The guy didnt seem happy checking me in. I had to give him my choice hotel membership number to make sure he had attached it to my stay. After all was done, I asked if he had a bottled water for me and I guess thats when he «remembered» that elite members are suppose to get a welcome bag with small bottles of water and treats. So… if I didnt ask, I wouldnt have gotten it?
The front desk is in a separate building from the rooms, which at night was a little scary. The front desk clerk gave me directions to my room which I had to walk across a small courtyard, then he told me to go all the way down the hall to take the elevator and then walk all the way back to where my room was. I asked him if the picture of a stair case meant there was stairway right at the front so I didnt have to walk all the way. He gave me a weird look and was like, ya i guess if you want to take the stairs you can go that way but the elevator is better. WHY? bc people these days now are too lazy to walk up and down stairs? I only had a small carry on backpack so it wasnt like I had to take the elevator. Anyways, that comment left me a bit sour. To add to that, It was cold outside so the small 15 second walk across the courtyard to my building made me even more grumpy.
The room was decent, the knob to the bathroom sink was broken and dirty. Good water pressure, comfortable bed. The best part of this stay is they had Earl Grey tea bags by the coffee. I am much more of a tea drinker instead of coffee so that made me happy. I slept past all my alarms (which is a good sign of a good bed) that I missed breakfast so I couldnt review the breakfast. But reading other posts on this place it was worth it and that I should have woken up to check it out. The morning staff was much much nicer. The lobby have a computer with a printer for business visitors. There are plenty of food places nearby (chick fila next door!) and you get 10% off at applebees with your room key. They have express check out so the receipt is placed under your door at night. All in all, I probably will stay here again if in the area. Mainly for convenience and the earl grey tea!

I was in for a wedding over the weekend, and booked through United. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was pretty good (apart from the second day when someone treated it as their personal kitchen «Honey, can I make up a plate for you?»)
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. The desk service was polite. The only downside was the water pressure wasn’t exactly great — it wasn’t a dribble, but it was pretty weak.
You also get discounts at local restaurants for showing your key.
Make sure you go a few blocks west, and run up Mesa Avenue, so you can really see the Garden of the Gods. I thought the title was a bit over the top, but it was pretty good sights.

Wonderful young lady greeted us at the front desk, housekeeping made sure the room was acceptable, and the room was perfect– comfortable and clean. Thank you!

The staff & management here are fantastic. They definitely go out of their way to accommodate guests.

We have stayed at Choice Hotels all over the US and this is one of the most pleasant stays. We were upgraded to a business class room, without asking, since we are Choice Privliges members. The room was very clean. great view and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and with lots of choices. The location was good for getting around Colorado Springs.
