Hickman Trailer & RV is a family owned and operated business serving the Colorado Springs Area since 1955.
The original business was started by the Hickman family in the 8th Street area of Colorado Springs. It was sold to Jerry Schreiner in the 80’s who then moved the business to its current location for Trailer Sales & Service on 2290 Hancock Expressway.
Bobbie & Karen Moore started Mountain Scapes Sales & Service, Inc a start-up Outdoor power Equipment Sales & Service business in 1998. They grew the business for the first five years in a leased location near Fillmore and Nevada in Colorado Springs.
Five years later, the Moore’s were looking for a location to purchase and move their growing OPE business and found Hickman Trailer Garage and purchased the property and business in 2003. They then merged the two companies together creating MSE Hickman Trailers & Equipment. The business flourished and grew. The Moore’s grew the family presence in the business in 2008 by adding Chris Moore as the General Manager.
The Moore’s continued in their diversification efforts and added Trailer Sales as a natural fit to the business model in 2011. After much growth and success in Trailer Sales, they reduced their niche to just Trailer Sales, Service, Parts and Hitches in 2012.
In 2014, another opportunity presented itself to the Moore’s and they branched out into RV Sales at the corner of Union and Pikes Peak Avenue…
History
Established in 1998.
MountainScapes Sales & Service, Inc. began in September of 1998 servicing and selling Outdoor Power Equipment. In 2003, we purchased Hickman Trailer Garage and changed the business name to MSE Hickman Trailer & Equipment providing trailer repair, small engine repair & Outdoor Power Equipment Sales. In 2010, we added trailer sales and in 2011 stopped servicing and selling Outdoor Power Equipment. In 2014 we added a 2nd Division at the Corner of Pikes Peak Ave & Union Blvd selling and consigning quality used RVs to the Colorado Springs and US Market.
