History
Established in 1985.
John and Jaque Peterson opened the business as Window Works in 1985 with a showroom located in the Austin Bluffs Plaza, at Austin Bluffs and Academy. A few years later they moved to a larger location in the same shopping center, and in 2003 changed the name to Window Covering Gallery. Then in 2006 they chose to partner with the well-known national association Exciting Windows! 2008 brought the decision to close the showroom and move into a home studio, which is open by appointment. The «Excite Van» is well stocked with hundreds of sample books and hand samples of many treatments, conveniently bringing everything right to the client’s home or office.
