Dr. Britt A. Buckley graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1979. Following his Flexible Medicine Internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Buckley completed a three-​year ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia in 1983. Dr. Buckley moved to southern Colorado that same year and was associated with the Colorado Springs Eye Clinic until 1985. At that time, Dr. Buckley established his solo ophthalmology practice and three years later he became CEO, President and Surgical Director of Peak Vision Center, which is now Buckley Chang Eye Institute.

Dr Chang is a wonderful doctor! No pain, 5 hours post op and my vision is already great! Still a little blurry but I can read very small print for the first time in years. Yea!

The following is my experience and opinion.
I went to see «Buckley Chang Eye Institute» to see If I was suited
for lasik. The examination went fine.
On the way out I asked the Optometrist to have a look at my current
glasses and straighten them out, as a result he broke the one lens.
He and the management were quite obstinate and rude to us during the 3 month
ordeal that we tried to get them to replace the lens.
We eventually gave up and also cancelled are appointment to do the lasik there.
I’m sure the owners were never notified of our experience and trouble.

I had Lasik back in 2005 and have had incredible results. I still go to this office for my annual exams, and Dr. Miles tells me he can’t even tell I had the surgery. I made the mistake of going somewhere else for an exam one time, and the result was lots of lost time getting a correct prescription — won’t make that mistake again. Also, their optometry section has great customer service. I had bought a pair of glasses there a little over a year ago and they basically fell apart due to a weak weld. I was given a brand new pair of glasses (different brand) with no hassle whatsoever. I can’t recommend this office highly enough.

Have been bringing my Mom here since a cataract surgery she had elsewhere that caused ongoing problems. My Mom is pleased with Dr. Chang and the service she receives. We even had to see Dr. Chang for an urgent visit on the 4th of July and he was very pleasant even after having been called out on a holiday. Thank you Dr. Chang!

I underwent PRK corrective surgery at the Buckley Chang Eye Institute two years ago and I’m still enjoying crystal clear 20⁄10 vision. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and guided me effortlessly through the process from my consultation to my last post-​op appointment. I feel that all of my questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed and my surgery was the best option for my needs. If you’re considering LASIK or PRK then this is the place that you’ve been seeking. It is apparent from every interaction that I’ve had with the institute that Buckley and his staff are dedicated professionals that provide top notch services to all of their clients.
