Axxis Audio is a micro contractor in the business of designing and installing audio and video systems for a broad base of commercial customers. We have a strong presence at Fort Carson, Peterson Field, and with a number of restaurants and music venues in the Colorado Springs area. We are very well known in several school districts in Colorado Springs to include Academy School District 20 and the Cheyenne Mountain School District. We have systems installed all over town and in other communties in Southern Colorado. We also provide live sound support for bands and other events, and we can be found mixing it up most weekends for some of the better bands playing the Colorado Springs club and concert venue circuit. We do not have a walk in location but can be reached by phone, email or snail mail.

Axxis Audio is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado, the NSCA (National Systems Contractors Association) and we support high standards for our work and green practices wherever possible.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I was born and raised in Lexington, KY and have been in the business of music in one form or another now for 48 years. I started playing guitar at the age of 11 and within 1 year had switched to bass and had joined my first band at the age of 12 and have been playing music ever since. I was on the road with a band from the mid to late 70’s that traveled a lot, at a time when sound systems were not very sophisticated. We were in Oklahoma when the band was asked to do a 4 week stop in Denver before returning to KY. Once in Colorado, I knew this was where I wanted to live so I moved to Colorado Springs in November of 1979 and have been here ever since. I got my start playing with sound systems while on the road and went on to take that skill to higher levels with each band I played with. I started working for a local music store in 1988 and worked there until 1996, at which point I made the decision to start my own business. That was when Axxis Audio was born.
