If you are visiting us, it is probably because your dentist told you that you need «root canal treatment». Please don’t be nervous, it is our top priority to make sure you are comfortable every step of the way.

Endodontists are dentists who have received additional training to provide the highest level of care for the soft inner tissue of the teeth called the dental pulp. The word «endodontic» comes from greek root words «endo» meaning inside and «odont» meaning tooth. All dentists receive training in endodontic therapy; however, some teeth can be difficult to treat and some pain can be difficult to diagnose. This is why your dentist has elected to refer you to an endodontic specialist, to ensure your tooth receives specialized care. In addition to four years of dental school, endodontists receive two or more years of advanced education and have practices that are focused on this type of treatment only.

History

Established in 2009.

Dr. Corr earned a degree in psychology from the Honors College at Arizona State University, a DDS degree at Loma Linda University, pursued an additional year of advanced training in general dentistry in Colorado Springs, then returned to Loma Linda for a 27-​month residency in endodontics. After earning his specialty certificate and a Masters degree, he returned home to Colorado Springs to establish Apex Endodontics with a commitment to providing the highest level of endodontic care possible.

Dr. Jack earned a degree in kinesiology from the University of Colorado, a DDS degree from the University of the Pacific, and completed an advanced dentistry internship in Florida. He completed a two-​year residency in endodontics in Bethesda, Maryland and concurrently earned a Masters degree in Oral Biology from The George Washington University. He joined the practice in July 2010. Both doctors are associate professors of surgical dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.
