We stopped into Al West boat shop almost accidentally and it was one of the best things that could have happened on our boat search.
We had been shopping for used boats and we stopped in to get a quote on some parts for a boat we were thinking about buying.
Julie at the front desk was outstanding to work with and gave us some compelling reasons to not buy the boat we were considering. I call this the «no sale» integrity close because she gave up the sale on parts with her recommendation.
Meanwhile, there was an ad at the front desk for a boat that belonged to somebody who had recently gotten it serviced there. Julie vouched for the condition of the boat and next thing you know we ended up buying a much better boat for a lot less.
The boat needed a new water pump, but al’s squeezed us in on short notice as we were in a hurry to get out of town.
I’m now the proud owner of a 1982 Boston Whaler. Thanks to the good folks at Al West!
