Introspect of Buxmont

do NOT go here or take any family members here– especially women or children! I have so many bad things to say about this place. We went in the evening, so the reception area is un-​attended/​self serve. The reception area is a creepy, smelly, unsafe, self serve area– I would never go alone. Once you figure out what room/​floor to go to, you walk through an old house that has been converted to offices. It’s like walking through a haunted house– narrow halls with turns, creaky steps, floors and all. When we finally reached the office we were greeted by the crypt keeper. She took entirely too long attempting to process the initial assessment. Time ran out and we were told to come back to finish it! No way!!! This is a sad sad place. I hope no one ever has to go here!

I usually would not take the time to write anything like this but I feel no one should have to be subjected to what I have experienced with this place. The first psychiatrist I saw in the Introspect office was Dr. Arial Vitali who talked more about himself and his life than his patient sitting in front of him. He was disorganized and late for every appointment we had. I had never met a more unprofessional doctor so I switched to Dr. Josephine Pobre who seemed like she would be a little more caring and thorough but I was dead wrong. I worked with her for the past 4 months or so to try to find a medication for my anxiety and depression. She was pleasant enough until the last two visits, one of which was today, where she seemed begin getting irritated as I told her my struggles with the medication I am currently on. After I explained the nausea I had been dealing with and the fact that my anxiety and depression are no better she asked me if I was doing drugs and when I said no I do not, she told me there were no other medications for me to try. As we sat there in silence I eventually said I would like to get off what she had currently prescribed me as it is not working and that I would look into another type of treatment. She did not even care to help ween me off the current medication but told me to take it every other day then stop, regardless that I have major head spins and shocks when I do try to stop this particular med. She told me I would just have to deal with that if I wanted to be off the med and shut the door behind me without any other help or resources. Josephine Pobre and this establishment in general should be shut down. We are not talking about an unsatisfied customer were talking about people’s emotional health. I was so appalled by the lack of hope she offered someone with chronic depression I feel no one should be able to go to this office without being fully warned that you will probably not be helped if their minimal training does not work for you. I am now out of a psychiatrist and will have to start over somewhere else because more or less I was refused help here. Maybe its just me but I have never heard of that.
