Established in 2007.

In 2007, our owner worked as a mobile unit providing reconditioning services to dealerships and individual customers. Since then we have two mobile vans and full time shop located in Colma (Daly City), CA.

Cesar A.

Business Owner

Cesar has been in the automotive business since 1993. He started off as a car washer and worked his way up to managing multiple detail shops up and down the peninsula. In 2007, he opened up his own auto reconditioning business and continues to grow.

Cesar has a keen eye in spotting cosmetic needs in vehicles. His work is impeccable. He is also quite innovative. Many times our customers have been told they have irreparable damage and Cesar has been able to come up with a solution.

After being referred to them by an autobody shop that spoke highly of them. I stopped by during normal business hours to drop off some wheel trim pieces that needed refinishing. The person present wasn’t able to give me a quote. I left the parts there and made contact with the owner. Made an appointment to return and speak in person. The owner was 30 minutes late for the appointment. I showed him what I wanted and explained what finish I wanted. The parts showed up today. The color is correct, the finish is high gloss, not Matte as I had explained repeatedly. The quote was 3X what I was led to believe while speaking on the phone. I will continue my business relationship with Pacific Rim. Not at all pleased.

Brought in my curbed aftermarket 19″ wheels for reconditioning, and received incredible service from Cesar & Kim — After stripping the rims, they discovered cracks in one of them, and called me immediately with their concerns & recommended options for repair (which ended up being a replacement wheel) — I really appreciate that they were concerned first and foremost with my safety on the road —
Although the project ended up costing more than I had hoped to spend, Unique’s portion of the price was more than reasonable, and all four wheels are now flawless & consistent in finish /​luster. Highly recommended & would definitely return for wheel /​glass /​body /​upholstery work.

Cesar did a great job touching up the rims on my brand new Audi. I had scraped the rims on the cub in a poor parallel parking job. Sigh. Given that it was a brand new car, it really bothered me to see the scuff marks. I called the Audi dealer and they recommended him (they use Unique Auto Reconditioning as well). Cesar offered to come visit me with his truck or have me come down to the shop in Colma. I opted for the mobile visit and he was on time, friendly, and did top quality work.

I spent nearly a year searching for the right vintage BMW — the one I settled on had badly cracked /​sun faded interior + a fair amount of road rash on stock rims. I spent a great deal of time evaluating restoration options for the interior — most industry pros said there was nothing I could do to bring seats back to like new condition — I could either A) Re-​upholster or B) Apply a conditioner to existing seats. I took the car to Cesar who recommended an approach that included a deep clean, condition, crack filler, light sand, and re-​dye. I’d been told this type of work rarely produces great results — but it did! I cannot stress enough how impressed I am by Cesar’s skill set. If you’re looking for a talented and reliable shop to lend a hand, start here. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!!!

What a great find! I found Unique as I was trying to find someone that could fix my gearshift that had been scratched by Wheel Works on Franklin, while buy new rims for my 2012 Prius Gen III (see my review for them). After trying 2 other places I was referred to Unique. Customer service is outstanding by both Kim and Cesar. Both are personable, professional, picky (just like me), punctual, and equally important, priced right. I came in to get gear shift fixed and ended up with pin-​stripping, rear bumper clear bra and will be returning for the front clear bra and tail lamp film. I am an extremely difficult person to please and I could find nothing to not be happy about. The shop is immaculate and again Kim and Cesar couldn’t have been any better. The semi finished project is amazing. Looking forward to my return next month for the clear bra install on the front bumper.

So awesome! Caesar was super duper friendly, and explained everything in [understandable] detail (got the clear coat/​3M protector to my bumpers, and scrape buffed off my wheel :) He even [quickly!] rescued me when my car ran outta gas down the road! He took care of everything with ease, and even got my car detailed for cheap! Will DEFINATELY use them when any autobody stuff comes up! :)
