This restaurant /bistro sounds very interesting, but it is no longer in existence. Webpage, complete with May 2015 calendar of events is still up, but the building is empty.

Appetizers we ordered were queso & chips queso had a hair in it. They did replace it. Suppose to be a wine cellar and the person behind the bar told us she didn’t know a thing about wine. Food was terrible. We ordered the special which was Cajun salmon. There wasn’t nothing Cajun about it. The sides were shell noodles with cheese and broccoli no choices. Broccoli was cold noodles were over done. The salmon was still pink in the middle. Needless to say we will never return.

Had the chance to try out Westview Wine Cellar this past weekend while celebrating a friends 40th birthday, and I have to admit that I was very surprised with Westview, first off they have a good selection of wine and beer, with a limited food menu. The wine was reasonably priced along with the food. What did surprise me is how good some of the food was, yes it’s mostly pizza, wraps, and other snack/bar foods. However the spicy sauce on the pizza, the Fondu for Two, and Nachos, alomg with everything else that was sampled was very good. Seating inside is somewhat limited in comparison to the large outside patio, which offers a distant view of the downtown St. Louis skyline. Service was good, and one of the owners even kind enough to personally introduce himself to everyone at the party and as how their experience was, he even wished the birthday girl a happy birthday with a bottle of wine.
