Fazzi’s is a local eatery that serves up Greek/Mediterranean fare. I’ve been here a few times and I can say that I always genuinely enjoy it. They have a really good Greek salad, complete with Greek dressing, feta cheese, and olives. I can’t bring myself any further than the gyros. there are other things on the menu that sound tasty, but my sole reason for going and coming back to this place is there gyro plate. Very tasty meat, served with pita(wish it came with a bit more), tomatoes, feta, and of course tzatziki sauce(creamy and wonderful flavor). There are other Greek places around, but for the family diner Greek feel that’s not overly expensive, Fazzi’s is the place to go.

I’ve been getting the buffalo chicken Greek salad here since high school. LOVEIT. I’ve never bothered to try anything else(because I’m a picky eater and already found something I love, plus I moved away) but everything always looks/smells amazing. Anytime I’m in town I order my salad to go. I crave it and get my fix once a year when I travel home. Would definitely recommend. There’s always been a nice crowd inside enjoying their meals, and it’s been around for years so clearly they’re doing something right

First time patron. Had the Greek combo plate. The spinach pie was very salty and the remaining dishes were fairly bland. Service was good, so there’s that. Nevertheless the place was crowded, so I’ll give it one more go and hopefully not be disappointed.

I’ve been to fazzi’s a ton of times in previous years! They have always had great food! It’s a nice little hole in the wall restaurant that needs a bit remodeling! Majority of all their appetizers are super! My favorite are the wings and friend cauliflower. I am also a fan of their pasta and I’m not a fan of pasta in general! I can’t wait to come back here.

Ordered Chicken Parm first and the chicken was extremely tough with the sauce having way too much onion and not much else flavor. Sent it back and ordered the chicken Alfredo, completely flavorless and the chicken was just overcooked frozen Tyson chicken, you know, the stuff that’s already precooked. The bread was great though. My wife got the spaghetti, just as disgusting. My friend got some baked fish, disgusting as well. His pregnant girlfriend got the cod sandwich, she was up all night vomiting and with diarrhea. If I could give this place negative stars I would. DONTEATHERE!

Love this place! Food is always fantastic, service is quick and friendly. Do wish they had a better location, but it’s not too inconvenient for great food.

If you get a hankering for some good Greek food this is THE place in the area. Their Greek salads and homemade vinaigrette dressing are amazing. Treat yourself to some succulent and tasty lamb then top it off with their fresh pita bread. The gyros are excellent as well. The employees all seem authentic and it’s just a nice sitdown casual environment. If you like Greek food definitely try it.

I have been eating there since they opened. The Greek salad is just a lot of ice berg lettuce with feta cheese, greek olive, tomato slice, green pepper slices and house dressing. Very tasty. The fried chicken is very good. Service can be brusque, don’t take offense. They are efficient. Food is consistent and portions are large.

The lamb chops they had on special tonight were delicious, hummus was garlicky and made just right, and the gyro is always amazing. The food is wonderful, and the staff attentive. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, though, bringing this place down from a 5 to a 4.

Good food, reasonable prices, and large portions is Fazzi’s winning combination. I have yet to try something here that I do not like. Their traditional Greek food is the best I’ve ever had. My favorite by far is the spinach pie. Flaky layers of filo dough with spinach and feta is hard to beat. And I absolutely love their Greek salad. And if you ever have room for dessert(I rarely do), they have wonderful baklava. They also serve many Italian dishes, mainly pasta. Pasta con broccoli is my other«go-to» dish, a heaping plate full of penne pasta with broccoli and mushrooms covered in a tomato cream sauce. My only complaint on this dish is that it’s very garlicky, to the point that vampires avoid me for days after eating it. In addition to their Greek and Italian fare, they also serve a variety of American dishes, mainly sandwiches. My husband swears by their French dip. They also have gigantic hamburgers, fried mushrooms, chicken strips, and various other dishes that you would expect in a bar and grill setting. Their steak fries are excellent(but are always in need of salt).

4 stats based on other aces I have found in Collinsville. Has American/Italian and Greek items. I had chicken lunch kabob. Hot and tender chicken. Not over cooked as I usually get other places. Service is ok, casual.

Had dinner for the first time here last night and it wasn’t half bad. I had the gyro plate and the serving size was more than enough for me to have two meals. The salad before my main course was awesome other than I think it’s silly to have olives with pits still in them included. The server we had was very friendly but the girl that got our drinks seemed less than thrilled to seat us and I had to ask her to put a 5 and 6 year olds drinks into a cup with a lid. Over all I would go back for sure and try something else. Note: we did not drink because it was a family outing but the bar is very small and only has 5 chairs at it.

I was meeting new friends and she suggested Fazzi’s. I was delighted that they had wine. I ordered a glass of Riesling, it was a great way to start our dining experience. Three of us each ordered a different appetizer so we could sample. I ordered the fried cheese, we had the spinach pie and crab cakes. We had so much food, we all took a doggy bag home. The presentation with the fried cheese was funny, two of the waitress arrived at the table with the platter. One doused something on it the other lit it and meekly said Ommpa… Really kinda lame. The crab cakes were as big as the plate, deliciously crispy and tasty. The spinach pie was flaky and hard to find the spinach. The cheese tasted like cheese with breading. The wait staff was very attentive and our glasses did not go empty. I had the mousaka, it was a little heavy and I was uncertain as to what was in it. My friend tasted it and they liked it. They had the greek salad and gyro platter. These were very tasty. The sauce was amazing, It was nice having other people to share different platters with, and I would go back again.

I’m not sure what anybody else can gripe about. Authentic Greek made from a Greek family. Hmm. Either way you go, it’s reasonable and delicious. The best part is, Greek isn’t all they serve. Plenty of American and Italian dishes to satisfy any palate. Spinach pie? Freaking amazing. Their burgers are beautifully seasoned and cooked to order. Beware! They’re huge. A JUNIOR Fazzi Burger is ½ lb. The kid’s burger is ¼. The only thing I don’t love is their fries. Problem is, I don’t like steak fries at all. However they have additional sides that make you say, «Steak fries who?» Delicious semi-Greek take on buffalo chicken salad. Saganaki is a must have app. Honestly have never had a bad meal here. Worth every penny.

Great local restaurant! Fresh pita bread, excellent gyro meat, Greek salads are very tasty. Grilled chicken in lemon/butter sauce topped with Feta cheese is very very good(meat is tender, spiced right, and Feta complements the dish very well). Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Fazzi’s has turned into our go-to place to get everyone together when I visit my family/hometown. The food is PHENOMENAL. The ambiance gets a shoulder-shrug and smirk(as in what ambiance). The waitstaff is pleasant and efficient, but have never oozed personality on any of our visits. Our last visit was Friday, 1÷31÷14. On Wednesday, 1/29, we made a reservation for 12. When we arrived, they did not have the reservation on the books. Insert the lack of personality… all very matter-of-fact in trying to find the reservation in their rosters. No one updated us or acted as though we were standing right there as they searched. It was kinda like they were solving a hypothesis or something, very cold and scientific versus very«we are sorry for the error and we are working to get you a table ASAP». Karma was on our side, as another large reservation canceled just after we arrived. I could have cut this part short, but there comes a time when you say«Shucks, made a mistake. Let’s apologize and let these people know we are going to seat them» instead of a full KGB audit of the books. It was just so odd, that it deserved a comment. Once we were seated, our server ended up being a very nice. Things quickly turned around. The drink service and orders were prompt. The salads arrived well-before the entrees. The orders arrived correct. The beverages were always full. For a table of 12, great job! Like I said before, pleasant and efficient. The food… oooohh, the food :-D I enjoyed a rich pasta dish. My brother had a gyro plate that was OMG-tasty! I’m totally ordering that next time. My father had the Ultimate Burger and steak fries. It was beautiful and delicious(picture). My nephew had fried shrimp that were huge! Everyone at the table was extremely satisfied with their order. The portions were all substantial. I have ordered many different dishes, and they all rate! …And THAT is why we will continue to eat at Fazzi’s. Great food wins every time! It’s not much to look at from the outside, but definitely stop and give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Not always the best for ambiance, but it is acceptable. For instance they do not provide bread plates. They have some great garlic toast that comes with a salad but there is no place to keep it dry? Also no place to collect olive pits. The Greek Salad is incredible here. Do not miss it! Although no olives or cucumbers in the salad. This is kind of a recent development. Not sure that it is as good as it was. I had the ultimate gyro. It is huge and served as a sandwich. The plate came out too hot to touch be careful. It was as delicious as it was big! The regular gyro sandwich is a more reasonable serving. The steak fries are good here as well although I frequently substitute the Greek salad for the potato offering. They have a full bar and make good drinks. Also their flaming saganaki is pretty respectable as well.

I’m a big fan! Saganaki and gyros to DIE for! Every time I come here, I am in love with the food and wonder why I don’t come more often. It is not fancy or ritzy by any means, and the staff is not full of bubbly people-persons, but for GREAT Greek food and casual dining, it’s amazing!
