I used to love coming here but noticed it’s gone a little down hill lately. It seems people are not as nice and want to rush through everything. A couple months ago I was there and passed out while getting my pedicure. I am currently pregnant and for whatever reason passed out in the pedicure chair. They had not finished scrubbing my feet and hadn’t filed my nail. No Polish was applied and they still charged me full price. I was off put by that you didn’t finish my service why are you Charging me for something you didn’t do? I was in a hurry to get to my doc so didn’t argue but I won’t be going back. Sorry AQ.

I admittedly avoided this place because of the negative reviews. I ended up here after coming home from another nail salon and discovering that I just could not sit with the color I chose(they had hardly any to choose from). I arrived at AQ and no, they weren’t super smiley and chatty but who cares. I explained to them what happened, they had a huge selection of colors to choose from and the nail tech really did a great job on the fix. They didn’t charge me full price, they just replaced the gel set. The girl was on the FLOOR at the mani station working on my toes. In the end, no, they weren’t chatty, smiley and in my face. They did detailed work and I left happy enough to upload a pic on my IG.

I would give this place a 0⁄5 stars if that was an option. Came with my daughter who I rarely get to spend time with now that she lives on her own. We were pressured to hurry up and pick our polish even though we were early for our appt. We were then quickly ushered into a very crowded and dirty pedicure area. We picked these«special» pedicures which were the most pathetic excuse for anything special I’ve ever received. 5 minutes into my daughters the guy just up and leaves her to go repaint some loud mouths nails because she had returned angry and complaining about how they looked. When he finally returned he skipped all of her«special» stuff but I sure still got charged for those extras. To top it off, my daughter and I are in a conversation and my guy says to me i have to go up front… when I said no I would like to wait here with my daughter who I came with… he rudely said«NO…I need chair now!» while sitting«at the dryer» I noticed how terrible my feet looked… my 7 yo son could have done that for me! I paid and didn’t complain because it was all so unnerving that all I could think was just get me out of this DUMP! I will never return here, I wouldn’t go back if it were free but for this I paid $ 40…EACH! Do yourself a favor and spend half the $ and get much much better work and service by going to a cheaper nail salon! This place is horrible

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I came here a few times while living in Illinois and even after I had moved to St Louis, I would still make the 20 – 30 minute drive every 2 weeks or so to get my nails done. Usually I am not particular with the tech doing my nails so I never make any sorts of appointment but this time, I did because I wanted a certain person to do my nails. Here’s why: I was fortunate enough to have Tina do my nails a couple of times during my visits and I absolutely loved them! I brought in a picture of a specific design I want and she takes her time to do it and do it right! I have never really had a terrible experience at this salon but from the various nail techs I’ve had, she has done the best job(see photos). The only bad thing is, you really need to make an appointment if you want her to do your nails because she’s usually busy with appointments. Overall, this salon is clean and nice. They offer several options for your pedicure and I do love going there for them but sometimes the drive is just not that appealing. I will definitely come back here for my special designs though.

Have always had a pretty good experience at this place. Only compliant was we had a 30 min or more wait but they were super busy and we had not made an appointment. I always get good and friendly service. Place is also clean.

I really used to love this place when they first opened years ago. It has since changed a little bit. For the most part the service is ok and most of the techs do a good job. I like how some of them will ask if you like the way your nails look. However, I’ve been going regularly every two weeks over the past year for shellac nails and no one has tried to learn my name or greet me with a smile. The service just seems so impersonal and inconvenient to them, but I dealt with it because the price was decent, it was close to home, and they usually did a good job 80% of the time. But the last time I was there I was really bothered by how one of the owners treated one of his employees by being snippy and short with any questions the girl had. Usually I wouldn’t know any better since they speak in a different language a lot of times, but this worker only spoke English so it was apparent and bothersome. I’m not sure if I’ll be back any time soon.

I had a 6:00 appointment and arrived about 5 minutes early and my friend was already in the back and going and I was already signed in. I told them about my appointment and that I was with the friend in the back and they told me to pick a color and just wait. They weren’t that busy considering it was a Friday evening, as they had open chairs and lots of staff ready and available. I waited an additional 20 minutes. I even waved to my friend to tell her I was there but they would not let me cross this«invisible line» at the front of the store. The SAME guy who told me to wait, started on her pedicure & left me up front! I finally just walked back by myself and they YELLEDATME and said to my friend«Is this girl with you!?» and she said«Yes, this is the friend I was telling you about…» and they said«Okay, have a seat.» My nail polish had more bubbles in every single nail, BIG bubbles, than I have ever seen! An 8 year old could have painted my nails better! I was so disgusted! My friend’s nails had a few bubbles too. I had to walk around asking for someone to ring me up after we were finished drying our nails. THEN I saw that it was $ 46!!! I mean I knew it was at least $ 35 but I just paid them and left! I tried calling the next day(Saturday) and they said there was not a manager until Monday. I tried calling Monday and they said there was not a manger available. I still didn’t get to speak with a manager, and never will it seems, a week and a half later. WORSTSERVICEEVERRRRRRRRR!!! Don’t waste your time or frustration or money on this HORRIBLE excuse for a nail salon! Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere reputable, even if your friends recommend going«just this once»!

I have always had a good experience at this nail salon. The owners used to own the salon in Troy(TK Nails) and the little extras that they always do made me follow them to this salon in Collinsville. I’ve had the occasional new tech that wasn’t quite as good, but never a bad experience. Because this is a good place you may experience a wait during their peek hours. Overall, in terms of «in and out» nail salons this one is TOPNOTCH. It’s not a boutique salon, they cram a lot of people into a little area, but they do just as good if a job as the swanky places.
