Awesome sampler platters and great service. The waiter explained each dish before we ordered and then again when served. Very nice meal.

The staff was very welcoming. Remember, everything in Collingswood is BYOB, so they were great about getting us an ice bucket for our wine.
The sweet potato pakora isn’t exactly what I expected of pakora but I was happy for what was a little more like sweet potato chips. The vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala were both excellent.

Vince and I dined here for NYE 2015 and wow! what a tremendous meal!!!
Our appetizers were mostly (didn’t care for the chicken chili one so much) very good — my favorite was the crab cake.
Helloooooo to our delectable trio of Naan — the spinach & cheese is amazing and dough-​a-​licious!!!
The main entrees though!!! Superior! I selected the shrimp and crab in a mild curry coconut sauce and Vince selected the halibut in a devine buttery? sauce.
Both entrees of sweet portions were served over their delicious & plentiful saffron.
Our server Maura was (seemingly) so happy and sweet — really into her job & nonchalant — also checked on us frequently even w a very full house.
We enjoyed the live music and moved to a cozy seat, which was not a problem at all.
Dessert for us was a unique trio each plus I had their perfect Chai — no additional sugar or even a drop of cream required!
I want to rewind and re-​experience the entire NYE night !!!
If you’ve never had Indian food, start here with the BEST!

Great food, service and ambiance. The flavors are complex and delightful. I recommend the lollipop lamb, which comes with 3 different sauces. The buttered chicken is fantastic.

Seriously disappointing. While we stood at the table to be seated the busgirl makes us wait to sit down so she can pour water while we stand and watch. WTH20! Waiter does a good enough job giving the specials. We order. No apps we don’t want to linger as it has been a long drive. Funny look from said waiter. Nothing on the table but the water. No chick pea salad or crackers. Nothing. This has never ever happened in the dozens of Indian restaurants we have eaten in over the years. We order iced tea. Another funny look. I guess he’s worried about his tip. Food arrives delivered by a different server. Both the lamb vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala are bowls of gravy with some protein in it. They do provide rice with the meal, a plus.
The nan was tasteless. Not once do they ask if we want drink refills. Check arrives minus the tea. He promply plucks it back to add it. Maybe that is why he forgot to ask about refills (he forgot he served it!) Not recommended. I guess we will stick with our regular haunts in Iselin.

I’m addicted to the butter chicken and lamb biryani. I’ve been back four times in the past couple of weeks, because it’s just so good. The service is quick, and they have live music sometimes. I also tried the four course lunch, and it was a fantastic deal.

Seems like I review IndeBlue every two years, coincidentally. Their menu has improved, something I didn’t think possible & they have really great specials. I love the creativity here. Food is served at spice level requested. Wish I could bring them back up to five stars, but their service remains pretty hit or miss. To the point of actually being aggravating. Their food more than makes up for it & the dining area is really pretty, so sometimes we will tough it out. (First world problem, right?) Most times we will just get delivery, or takeaway. Win/​Win.

We’ve been going here for a few years and had a roller coaster of experiences with them. What first drew us there was their vegan options which was good for DW when she was following that diet. Don’t worry omnivores, they have plenty of good meaty options as well.
Their Indian cuisine is probably some of the best I’ve ever had including their traditional dishes and their non-​traditional dishes. I generally order off of their monthly specials menu, though their regular menu has plenty of good specials. Their pumpkin soup with pumpkin naan special in October is to die for. Over the years, I have also enjoyed a watermelon salad special & a turkey special in November. Their curries are always good, their rice is generally fluffy, and their naan manages to be both toasty and tender.
The bumps is the road here and there with the restaurant have been service related. Since they opened up the Philly location, I don’t see the owners at Collingswood very much and they have a young staff running the front of the house. They mean well but are prone to mistakes.

First-timer’s take: the space is beautiful; the servers are friendly, efficient, and helpful; and – most importantly – the food is excellent and nicely plated. I look forward to returning soon to try other dishes!

Best restaurant in south jersey! We have eaten at every byob in the area and this is by far the best. My husband got the mixed grill and he absolutely loved it. I got the butter chicken which was delicious! Cinnamon ice cream and honey/​cake balls look weird but were soooooo good. Great service we definitely recommend it.

Still my fav Indian restaurant, and I am so happy to see that the food & service remain to notch. Dined out on their porch recently, on a balmy summer evening. This is also one of the best places to dine if you are gluten intolerant, since their menu is mostly gluten free. They even have gluten free Naan!
The shrimp appetizer was enough to share (6 jumbo shrimp) and was perfectly cooked with just the right hit of spice. The spiced mayo was an excellent accompaniment.
For the main course, we had Chicken Biryani and Honey Lime Chicken Chipotle (a version of tandoori chicken). Both were excellent, and even the chicken in the tandoori dish was tender & juicy — not dry. You could taste the individual flavors in both dishes. It was not just one spicy mess with different textures. Chicken Biryani is my current fav Indian dish, and Inde Blue does it better than anywhere else I have tried.
For a delicious & filling meal, the prices here really are a bargain. You’d spend this much going out to eat at most chain restaurants, and not get food anywhere near as good. Highly recommended on all counts.

My favorite restaurant in south Jersey! a lot of what they have to offer is not your stereotypical indian fare (though they do have many of the usual indian dishes on their menu); they have many interesting specials every month (they change them monthly) and that is what i usually get because they always sound so appealing. and they don’t disappoint!!! the chef is a genius in the kitchen! his dishes are always very interesting with odd/​unusual ingredients being meshed together wonderfully. they even have meats that i have never seen before, neither at other indian places nor anywhere else for that matter (had kangaroo the first time i ever ate here).
dishes that in my opinion are especially noteworthy: the spinach chaat appetizer is one of the most delicious dishes on the planet — i get it EVERY time i go. the fig ice cream is homemade and unlike any other ice cream i’ve ever had. the entrees are hard to pick from because as i said, i usually get one of the monthly specials, but the shrimp moilee and chicken makhani are my favorites off the ‘regular menu.‘
the service is great too — Chris is so informative and attentive and knows even the specials so well it’s almost as if he made them himself. Thursday nights they have live indian style music and they have other daily ‘specials’ throughout the week (like couples night on Wednesdays (I think that’s what they call it). Their lunch specials are great, and they have a Sunday brunch which I will get to one of these days (sounds amazing, we’re just not big breakfast/​brunch people). They also have a very nice little front deck that is perfect for outside dining.
Bottom line — my wife and I feel this is the best indian restaurant in the area, and as I said before, it’s my favorite restaurant, no matter what the style of food we are comparing.

Why homies be hatin on restaurant week menus? Seriously, I really want to know. I chose places I would eat at anyway (usually some Unilocal research is involved) and have had very good experiences. Most of these restaurant week finds become part of my rotation, or at least places I recommend to others. While I was enjoying today’s RW menu at Indieblue, I noticed at least 5 couples leave without even trying it.
No matter, it was their loss. This restaurant was pointed out to me by a friend while walking around Philly. Fast forward a month later and I happened to be in Collingswood to visit another spot and I was enchanted by a heavenly aroma. Lo and behold it was emanating from the original Indieblue. Since then this place has been on my mind. When I learned they were participating in this restaurant week, I knew I had to go.
For $ 35 you are given the choice of a soup or salad. Then 4 app choices. Followed by 7 or so entrée choices. Lastly 3 desserts. They even provided complimentary beer, Kingfisher, which pairs very nicely with spicy Indian food.
I won’t bore you with all of the food details, but the highlights for me were the Shorba (a cold tomato based soup) crispy squid, and both dessert choices (though my relative’s fig ice cream was the better of the 2) The basmati rice was among the best I have tasted, as was the tandoori chicken.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated both inside and out. The service was what can be expected in the very best of fine dining establishments, I regret that I cannot remember our very helpful and very friendly waitress’s name (I blame the food on that) To put the proverbial icing on the proverbial cake, we were given a $ 10 coupon for our next visit. I can’t wait to go back and sample the regular menu. Without a doubt my favorite Indian restaurant in NJ, and not because of tonight’s economic factor. The food won me over. 5 Unilocal

I’m really sensitive to spicy food, but love the flavored in Indian dishes. Most places have a mild version, but that’s a joke. I still need water here, but I can still taste it afterwards, and don’t forget to order some naan! Everything here is delicious.

There’s a slight upset feeling in my stomach having to give this place a 3 instead of a 4 since it seems as though a heap load of previous customers had some wonderful reviews to offer. However, I can’t say that that changes the overall experience that I had coming here for lunch.

ALL IN ALL = IndeBlue Indian Cuisine, unfortunately, did not satisfy my Indian food cravings. Will continue my search for a go-​to place in the area.

I can’t say enough good things about IndeBlue. I live in Philly yet I drive out of the city and across the Ben Franklin to dine here! It’s that yummy.
They offer a wide variety of modern Indian cuisine, tons of vegan, vegetarian as well as meat options. The most delightful apps (try the spinach or cauliflower!) and their breads at divine.
They are located on the main drag in Collingswood, a BYOB (yay!) and some nights have live music.
IndeBlue also participates in Dining Out for Life each April! Way to go!

I’ve been coming here for years and I cannot say how much I continue to love and be impressed with this place. I usually go at least once a month. The food and service are constantly above par. The flavor, presentation, and originality of the menu is spectacular.
The restaurant is BYOB. On busy nights I would call ahead for a reservation.
The stand out time I always think of at indeblue is when one summer night we were eating outside and out of no where it started to torrential downpour. Our clothes and meals were soaked.
With a few moments they reseated us inside and had the kitchen bring us out new dishes free of charge. They also sent out Jasmine tea and dessert– that is with how much care indeblue treats each customer.

While this isn’t the best Indian I’ve ever had, it’s not bad for suburban Indian fare. The prices are a bit high, but it’s a nice alternative to the plethora of Italian options in Collingswood.
I generally go with the tandoori chicken which is pretty spicy, but flavorful. The kashmiri naan is the highlight of this place.
We switch between dining in and getting delivery, but overall I’ve had positive experiences with both. The restaurant itself is pretty large and has a parking lot in front and on the side, so that’s not an issue.
