History
Established in 1997.
At South Jersey’s original Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, You can now do Glass Fusing along with Pottery Painting and Mosaics! There is a print by Sark on the studio wall known as «How To Be An Artist». Some of the ways mentioned by the author are: Plant Impossible Gardens, Stay Loose, Entertain Your Inner Child, Celebrate Every Gorgeous Moment and Giggle With Children. We are in our Seventeenth Year now! We are truly happy in our new studio and love being in Collingswood. It feels like home. My great, great Aunt Sallie built a home in Collingswood in 1900 — the first house on Frazer Ave. The home remained in our family until 1995 after my Grandmother died. I lived on Stokes Avenue when I was first married and then again on Lincoln Avenue a few years later. Kim spent her early childhood here so we both feel like we have come home. We are thrilled to be part of the Collingswood community. I am sure that my grandparents and parents are all looking down on us with big smiles.
Meet the Business Owner
Pam 0.
Business Owner
In early 1997, Pam O’Brien was more than ready to leave her 25+ year career in the insurance industry and try something creative. Her daughter, Kimberley Raiguel, was living in Salisbury, MD and was directing a live newscast at a local ABC affiliate station. Pam had heard of the new trend of pottery painting and in April paid a visit to a studio in Pennsylvania, the only studio in our area at that time. Six months later, Pam, with the help of husband Pat & daughter Kim, opened, South Jersey’s Original Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, in charming, historic Haddonfield. After 10 years in business, moved to their current location in Collingswood.
