Just moved out and gotta say I loved living here. The apartments are actually set up like mini houses so I never really felt like I was in an apartment at all. Also, it’s set up so that everyone’s bedroom is connected to their neighbor’s garage or bathroom or some room not used constantly(so no awkward bedroom to bedroom connections). I didn’t hear my neighbors much– only a few times, actually. It was nice because you could be as secluded or social as you felt like being. Everyone is nice and friendly, they had a nice party room and theater, and it was a safe place to live. It was expensive(but it’s Collierville) and pet fees were crazy(but I’m broke) but it was still fun. I think the only complaint I have is that the fridge brands they use are really really loud. Like, I can hear it humming at night. I’m sitting five feet from my new one and can’t hear it at all. But anyway, the community is wonderful here and I would definitely come back if I ever needed to live in an apartment again.

I’ve lived here only about 2 months & so far I love it! It’s perfect for the convenience of shopping, easy access for getting out of the city & very quiet. I love having my own double car garage, also.

Great place to live! Love having a 2 car garage. Enjoy sitting on my porch, very quiet. Saved money because we have the refrigerator, washer and dryer included. The landscapers do a great job especially edging the lawns, they look so neat. We have a pool, exercise room and even a business center. Very friendly neighbors and pet friendly! We have the opportunity to use the 2 theaters with our own DVD’s and the Club House. With Carriage Crossing(Dillard’s, Macy’s, etc.) nearby, restaurants, Walgreen’s and Kroger, we don’t have to go far for anything we need. The 385 Highway is nearby to go to downtown Memphis or head to Nashville. Very Nice!!!

I am updating this review after moving out four months ago. I wish we had stayed! We still were unsure of our plans to stay in the area, but wanted more space so we rented a house in Collierville. It has been a nightmare with our landlord and, despite the very tight quarters for our family with kids and a dog, I wish we had sold our big dining table so I could open my fridge(see below) and had stayed at Westbrook Crossing. I also wanted to mention that they make the move out INCREDIBLY pleasant. They had a simple/obvious list of items they wanted to have done and that was it. They weren’t worried about walls/carpets, etc. as I believe they replace and repaint between each tenant. This means everything is perfectly clean and lovely when you move in. I absolutely cannot say the same about the house in which we now live. That may be more of a recommendation to be very careful about renting homes in Collierville(and to research your landlord VERY carefully!!!), but it is also a recommendation that if you don’t need a ton of space, this is a great place to live for a reasonable price in Collierville. So my comment that I wouldn’t shed tears leaving proved to be true, but 4 months and some real landlord issues later I wish we hadn’t been in such a rush to leave. Here is what I like: Proximity to walking trail is wonderful and is honestly my favorite thing about this complex. It is nicely shaded with pretty trees and views of open fields are lovely. There’s a nice neighborhood of homes with friendly people along that trail as well. Location is good-we are close to the things we do here-school, gym, friends, activities. In the summer the kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have it right there. Kind of felt like we were in a hotel during the summer. Due to the way they are built, they are VERY quiet for an apartment situation. We never heard our neighbors at all. The garage, which was a must for us. People are very friendly and we met some really nice people living here. The fact that it is more of a cottage style versus an apartment with people above or below. I like that between the living room and bedrooms there is a door that can be closed off. More on that later. Here is what I don’t like: These may look alright, but they are very poorly constructed. This became evident as winter came and our utility bill crept higher and higher while our unit retained less and less heat. We literally do not use our living room right now(Feb) because it is too cold to sit in. Here is why I like the door between the living area and bedrooms. I have complained and they don’t seem to care too much about the heat issue or the mold that grows in the sills from moisture accumulation which, again, we attribute to cheap windows and lack of sealant. They did put some strip of foam and cardboard in the sill which has done absolutely nothing. I am not the only person to have this issue. The bathrooms are ridiculously big in comparison to the rest of the apartment. My husband jokes that we could use one as a third bedroom. They also have no storage-no medicine cabinet, no closet. I guess it is good it is big because I had to put a small armoire in it for storage. I would really like the extra space in the kitchen so two people could stand in there. Once you have a table in there, there is NO room. We can’t open the fridge if someone is at the table. This is a bit of a bummer. They have a floorplan with two bedroom plus a tiny upstairs room, which would have worked much better for us as a family, BUT we heard from many people that it didn’t cool upstairs(I think they recommend getting a window AC unit) so we were glad we didn’t go with that unit. The reason we didn’t select it originally is that it has hardwood stairs and we were worried our toddler would fall down the staircase. The other day I tried to wipe a mark on the wall and it rubbed the paint off down to the drywall. I did not rub that hard. I noted this because my neighbor asked what I thought of the wall and paint quality and told me she had had to wipe something off the wall and her paint came off on her rag. This is not the fault of the apartment complex and, in fact, I know they tried to address it many times, but I still think it deserves mention… despite the complex providing doggie pick up bags all over, many people choose not to use them. In tight quarters, this isn’t great. The bottom line is it is nice for a temporary situation or solution OR if you’re a single person or couple and don’t need a lot of space. It is not a place I would want to stay for a long time with a family. We are tied into a year lease which was our only option. We would have been happier with a six month option but that wasn’t a choice. We make do but won’t shed any tears as we load up the moving van in a couple months.
