Jackson’s Shoes

Jackson’s Shoes has been around since 1966– many of the current moms and dads of Jackson’s clients were fitted in shoes by Jackson’s themselves! The «new» location is on Market & Poplar in Collierville, next to New Que Huong (the best Vietnamese in town), and near Hobby Lobby. The space is good, the number of shoe offerings is moderate, though they do have the better brands, such as New Balance, Saucony, Keds, Merrell, Tsukihoshi, and others. Also the best place to purchase cowgirl shoes and riding shoes for tiny equestrians– currently they have some gorgeous bright-​red cowboy boots my inner-​child covets.
I give the store 4 stars because they have been so busy every time I go in, but perhaps that is due to their five-​star fitting! Your child will be wearing the largest size they can comfortable walk and run in, so that it lasts a guaranteed three months.
My son’s feet run wide to extra-​wide, so we have been pleasantly surprised to learn from Mr. Jackson which brands run wide anyway– I thought we could never buy him light-​up character shoes, so his Spider-​man shoes and Jedi shoes have been a novelty and an unexpected joy. We will continue to visit Jackson’s when it is convenient, for the best fit in town.
Prices are fair– even better with a sale on.
