Now open is the second bar on Texas A&M University campus where you can grab a cold one. The only other bar on campus is the University Club Bar on the top floor of Rudder Tower. There used to be another one in the basement of the Memorial Student Center by the Bowling Alley but it was gone after renovation, along with the hotel.
Anyway, since alcohol wasn’t on my list of desires I instead opted for a nice fresh cup of coffee at $ 2 for a tasty cup of Joe. They also sell fresh brewed iced tea, potato chips and Pepsi products. Lots of seating, friendly service. Flat screen TV was on ESPN with recent NFL coverage.
The beer selection consists of 4 drafts; Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon Belgian style wit (white /​wheat) and Shiner Bock from Shiner, Texas. Kudos to them for having local beer on draft.
