After watching this cemetery being built over the period of a few years, we decided to stop by and check it out. It’s a little creepy in a few ways, one of them being how it points eternally to Kyle Field. I can see how that may be appealing to some older folks that ain’t missed a home game in 30 years. But what happens if they tear down Kyle Field and build a new stadium somewhere else on campus property, as is currently being considered? This land is property of The City of College Station. Plots in the Field of Honor are $ 2500 each, or $ 1500 for a «Columbaria Niche». The Texas A & M University logo is licensed by The City of College Station for commercial use and advertising. It’s a little surprising how few people have seen this. So if you live in College Station, get bored and want to see something new and different that you have never seen before, it’s a short drive out to Easterwood Airport. But instead of turning left go back and to the right. It has what I think is the world’s largest concrete ATM logo.
