Target Optical

I have been rushed through eye appointments for years and as a result given a prescription that is too strong for my contact lenses and wearing them for years! I saw Dr. Bernstein at Target Optical with a walk-​in appointment and he was very thorough with his evaluation and explanations, friendly and took his time with every patient. I highly recommend him and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Never thought I would be going to Target to see my optometrist!

having worn eyeglasses for 20 years or so, i am not a stranger to optical shops and i know that many of them are unfriendly, shady, and even incompetent. target optical, on the other hand, is by far the best optical shop i have ever visited. the process was smooth and almost stress-​free from beginning to end. competent and thorough optometrist… excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone (no rushing, no badgering, no rude answers)… timely completion of eyeglasses… transparent and reasonable pricing. the results: best prescription eyeglasses i’ve ever had and the polarized sunglasses made me see the world in a different, more beautiful light! i give it a 4 stars instead of 5 bec the first time i was there we had some technical issues with the equipment and computer program so i had to return to complete my transaction. otherwise, a gem!
