Unique Cleaning Solutions

This argument is moronic.
As a SINGLE guy that lives alone, it is a simple task to determine the coming and going of items (especially large boxes) in my home.
As a VENDOR with SECOND HAND information from staff EMPLOYEES who clean dozens of homes each week, and whom have a vested interest in not being penalized — you would think this thought would have crossed your synapses a long time ago.
Sooo wish I could give ZERO stars.

Perfect cleaning people, affordable hourly rate! I had a rental property cleaned after a move-​out. They did such a fantastic job from the baseboards and walls to the ceiling. They scrubbed the wall stains so well I don’t have to paint anymore! The house smelled so good when they were done. The tenants had left serious grease inside the oven door and that too was gone! Definitely making them my favorite cleaning service

We just had our house cleaned for the first time by unique cleaning solutions. Making an appointment. Here our highlights:
–Their online appointment system was extremely convenient.
–We received multiple reminders about our appointment via email.
–Professional crew, arrived on time. Worked non-​stop.
–Attention to detail, they treat your house like hotel turnover service. Nice staging when possible.
–When additional time was needed we received a call from a manager seeking permission first.
Overall great service. I would highly recommend them.

Once again, enjoying our sparkling clean home thanks to the Unique Cleaning team that left our place spotless! Arrived right on time, friendly and very professional. I will hire them again and again. Thank you!

I want to update my review. Again, the company and cleaning is amazing! The cleaning crew was not honest in reporting their time spent in the house. As a result, the issue has been handled. Angel’s business has been around for 10 years and has a good reputation. It is unfortunate that his workers almost ruined it.

Just had my first experience with Unique Cleaning Solutions and I am very, very pleased. The company called me when it appeared that the ladies would be late (even though they were well within their arrival time). Upon arrival, they quickly got to work and were extremely thorough. I think some areas of my apartment were cleaned for the first time since I’ve lived here. They were done in approximately two hours and left the place looking spotless. Oh, and did I mention the price was JUST right? Even after the tip, it is still less than what I paid another service to come every month. Will definitely hire again.

Unique cleaned my 3 story cape cod house yesterday. They did a wonderful job! They were on time, and cleaned very well in the 3 hours they were allotted. I really enjoyed how they cleaned the sofa and left it with those beautiful lines. I also liked the stainless steel cleaner they used on the kitchen appliances.
Since I live in a three story house, not everything is going to be completely spotless, but again they only had 3 hours to clean and they did a great job.
The reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the tile floors still had some smudges on them and also, I noticed this blue liquid on the carpet upstairs. I’m sure it’s from their cleaning fluid, but I had to use resolve to get it out of the carpet.
I would definitely still use them next time though!

Unique cleaning is the best cleaning company in the DC region. Angel is very dedicated and easy to talk to. He understands the variants of a busy life and accommodate your needs as hard as he can, even when it is a last minute request. It is simply amazing how supportive his company is of its employees and customers alike. I have been a customer for the past 5, maybe 6, years. I have zero complaints. Most of my appointments are scheduled with one cree that I really like. But I have several other crews coming to clean our house. They are all very friendly and detailed oriented. If feel comfortable knowing the work is being done as if they were cleaning their own homes. Cintia and Dorian are very dedicated. They know really well where things are placed in our house. They care for our home and that makes us feel very comfortable. I strongly recommend Unique Cleanings.

I’m so pleased with Unique Cleaning Solutions. I hired them after I’d tried a Groupon with another company with no real website, who never showed up the day of, wasting an afternoon for me. After that, I decided I needed to go with a company that was organized, had online appointment booking and confirmations. Being able to pay online was an added bonus.
Someone from the company called me after I inquired about setting up a first visit online. We went over the size of the house, if there was anything special, pricing and time frame. The day that the team of two ladies come out, they came right on time.
I was surprised by how much they accomplished and the nice extra touches, even paying attention to tissues in the tissue boxes! Most importantly, the house was not just pleasantly clean on that day, but it stayed clean for a while. I didn’t need to sweep or dust for days, which is really unusual for us. I appreciated the use of Green products as well — we have a dog and I didn’t want anything toxic used around the house.
This company’s staff work extremely hard and I’m already booking Unique for my next cleaning.

I just received a service at my home and I have nothing but amazing things to say about unique cleaning solutions. Yesterday after realizing that the house needed more cleaning than I could commit to – the blinds and spaces under furniture hadn’t been cleaned in months – I decided to look for a cleaning service. Unique cleaning solutions was highly rated on Unilocal and so I went to the website and I was able to schedule an appointment online. This made me a bit weary, because often times these companies have such tools available but then cancel when you schedule last minute but not unique cleaning solutions. I received a direct confirmation and then a personal confirmation over email last night. The cleaning crew was scheduled to arrive at three, they got a bit lost and didn’t make it to my house until 320 or so and they began cleaning at 3:30 but still stayed a bit longer than the scheduled two hours. I explained to them what I needed cleaned including appliances in the kitchen so that they knew what the priorities would be. Now I want to make a couple of things clear, before they arrived at my home I cleaned junk (old toothbrushes etc.) from the sinks in my bathrooms and I made sure that surfaces were clear so that they could clean them. I also helped to remove furniture and I removed food from the refrigerator so that they could clean it. Both Lisette and Miriam were incredibly professional and just all-​around amazing to work with. As they finished cleaning a room I would go to spot check just to be sure everything was to my liking and if there was something small that needed to be arranged I simply asked and they were more than happy to come back and fix it, no attitude all professionalism. At the end of the day, they cleaned every room of my house – one and a half baths and two bedrooms. I thought that because my home is so small it would only require two hours worth of cleaning. That is simply not true. While both women worked continuously to clean there simply wasn’t enough time and that is my fault. I did have to wipe some things after the fact but that was on me. I’m including this information so that those of you who have two bedroom apartments or larger or even those of you who expect to have a large appliances like a refrigerator or oven cleaned know that you need the three hour deep cleaning because two hours is simply not enough time. Overall I highly recommend this cleaning service and I hope that others will consider them. Our home wasn’t this clean when we moved in! Also, the home office was incredibly professional and easy to work with. They notified me when the team was lost and they honored the coupons I had over the phone.

I had Unique clean out my son and his roommates college apt. First of all, the two workers were right on time, brought all supplies and equipment and worked like dogs! The apt looked great and smelled great too! It was totally a terrific job. A+++

I just had my house «deep cleaned» by Unique cleaning services and couldn’t be happier. They cleaned everything very thoroughly and tidied everything up. You can even schedule your appointments online. I am pretty OCD about cleaning even though I never have time for it, so I was a little reluctant about hiring someone in fear that they would not be as thorough as I am. I have had cleaning people in the past where I felt like I had to clean after they left. This was not the case at all today. I would highly recommend them, especially Suzie and Roxanne. Thank you so much! I will definitely be a regular client of theirs from now on.

Superior service. Give them a try. We’ve used them for a couple of years. I wish they worked where we moved! We’ll miss them!

I’ve been using this company for several years now and I really appreciate the owner’s flexibility. The prices are reasonable and the rotating staff is friendly and does a good job.

Count me among the very satisfied first-​timers. For my one-​bedroom apartment, for what is called the deep-​cleaning service, I paid 165 including the extras of oven cleaning and five windows (inside only). Patti and Dina did detailed work and were very careful. There were hiccups and in scheduling, but because Angel and his office staff were flexible and easy to reach it was painless. Likewise, they were about 45 minutes late for the appointment, but I was warned ahead of time by phone, and they did not rush or cut corners in the work. I am extremely satisfied and would use their service again.

This place is amazing. I paid for first time (deap cleaning), which costed me $ 165 with $ 35 coupon. I was really impressed by how professional they were. They were running about 15 minutes late due to DC marathon traffic and called me to warn me. When they arrived, there were 2 maids and they were both very friendly and hard working.
They did an amazing job. My place is sparkling.
Every surface is shiny, including my cabinets, which I saw them wipe down.
They vacuumed and mopped my wood floors and rugs.
They changed my bed sheets, and folded the random laundry that was sitting on my chaise lounge in my bedroom. They orgalized some of the stuff I had on table tops, etc.
They cleaned my microwave and stove top, they even removed the knobs. They got the gross caked in crap that was on my stove top.
They wiiped the baseboards.
The bathrooms are pristine. Well everything is pristine, every surface, etc.
They even found my vacuum, and neatly arranged it
They asked me if everything was to my liking before they left.
All in all, I was really happy and will definitely use them again… if I can afford it ;)

I use Angel and Unique Maid Service for new construction properties I need to sparkle. They are professional, quick, and well priced. A few of my friends happily used them too. They bring all of their own supplies, trash bags, trash can liners, etc.

I’ve used plenty of other cleaning services and have never called the same company twice — except Unique. Not only do they do a fantastic job, well above and beyond their lackluster competition, but their employees are friendly, kind and, most importantly, trust-​worthy. As as stay at home Mom I am an «as needed» customer, so I don’t have my home on any sort of schedule with them. Yet whenever I call, Angel not only fits me in asap, but remembers who I am and doesn’t need a shred of information on where I live, what type of cleaning I need, or anything I would expect someone to ask for when I only use them occassionaly. For a company this large to treat an occassional customer with such high regard and familiarty is not only rare these days, but a breath of fresh air. As someone who’s very particular about her home as well as frugal, Unique Maid Service is definitely worth every penny!

I think I was Angel’s FIRST customer about 5 years ago when he started out– just him and his wife. I found him off a craigslist ad. He now has a larger group of people, but still the nicest, most personable folks. Angel’s peeps are thorough and efficient. Extremely trustworthy! I also know for a fact that I am one of his gazillion clients and yet they do not treat me that way.
Aside from cleaning my house, Angel is great whenever I call him to clean out rental property or homes I am listing.
P. S. cannot stress how EFFICIENT they are! They are in and out of my house in record time– but still do a fab job!

I have had the total opposite experience! I purposely waited a couple months (=a couple cleanings) before writing this review and can confidently say that I have high ratings for Unique Maid Service. I don’t like the name though — I much prefer Unique Housecleaning, or something like that, but likely because I feel guilty when I don’t/can’t clean my own house top-​to-​bottom-​including-​nicks-​and-​crannies like they do. They have consistently done a good job each time. They work so darn efficiently each time and everything shines when they’re done. But I think the biggest reason I’ve stayed with them is that when I call, they are so personable and friendly and don’t treat me like a number. I am by no means they’re best (=most frequent/​most lucrative) client whatsoever I’m sure, but I appreciate that THEY appreciate me as a customer.
Hmmm…my reviews aren’t usually this long or this trite, but I’m so surprised at the previous review…[sigh]…honesty and the good and the bad is what Unilocal is all about, so that’s a good thing! bottom line? my house is currently clean. Thanks, Angel (literally his name) and his awesome crews!
