Meet the Business Owner

Sean K.

Business Owner

Born in the 1900s, head chef and owner, Sean Kang, first realized he had a talent for cooking after he made the most delicious bowl of cereal he had ever tasted. After discovering his remarkable aptitude for cooking, Kang went on to compete in several cooking competitions, including the cooking reality show, «MasterChef,» on the FOX network. However, all scenes on the show which featured Kang were edited out by producers because they felt as if the other competitors were at a disadvantage with Kang being in the competition. Nevertheless, Kang continued to follow his dreams and in Fall 2015, he opened his first restaurant, Sean’s Diner. Located in the «cut» of College Park, MD, this new and upbeat dining location seeks to provide great people with great food. During the times he is not running the diner, Kang spends his time not studying for his classes, window-​shopping on the internet, and chasing women that are out of his league.
