Quality Hotel Conference Center

I can’t give zero stars. We were stuck here for a joyless night at the mercy of Southwest Airlines. It smells, it is dirty, the toilet was broken, and we had a bullet hole in the window. Just terrible.

The sheets and towels were clean and it was better than sleeping on the floor off the airport. Thanks Delta Airlines… (you could do better).

Horrible. Rusted bathroom, peeling walls, and strong smoke smells. And bed bugs. No good.

I imagine most of the business here is driven by airlines putting passengers (and some employees) up. This was my situation from Southwest. I couldn’t see many people booking this hotel on their own, unless they got a room for dirt cheap (under $ 50). It’s not worth more than that.
That being said, I worked myself up so much after reading the reviews, prepared for the worst. It’s a good thing, because low expectations meant little disappointment.
When leaving baggage claim, there isn’t great signage to tell you where to go. Ask if you need to. From exiting the terminal, go left and head outside to the shuttle up areas. You’re looking for the purple area, zone 3, which is across the street. Other drivers from other hotels will ask you where you’re going. Some may offer to poach you with no strings if you go to their «upgrade» of a hotel. All the options I saw had scary reviews similar to our hotel, so we stuck with the one we already vetted online.
The shuttle runs every 30 minutes. No need to call the hotel, unless you’ve been waiting longer than that. Our driver made a few announcements at the very end of the trip about shuttle hours, breakfast, wifi, ect. And then wasn’t shy about asking for tips. Okay, fine.
The front desk clerk was prepped and waiting for our bus load, handing out key cards in exchange for airline vouchers, without much conversation. Next! It’s important to note that whoever has this job is probably used to hearing a lot of complaints, so it’s understandable if they’re not to pleased to see you.
The hotel is dark, dank and run down. Inside and out. At 10 PM, I thought the hall towards by the lobby looked like a mental institution in a horror show.
The room… Was livable for the night. It surprised me, actually. Despite the many stains, basic amenities, light switches that didn’t do anything, peeling paint, broken phone, limited power outlets, etc., the room was fine for what we needed: sleep and a shower in the morning.
The free breakfast is something, but nothing special. Very cheap food. Even the tea and hot water (luke warm at 6 AM). Best bets here are making your own waffle, bagels, yogurt, cereal. There’s a giant tip jar with a big sign in front of the garbage can. You can’t miss it.
Check out was simple, since the room was covered by the airline. Just turn in your key. The clerk in the morning wasn’t happy to be there (few people were), but I gave her a warm smile anyway. The shuttle starts running at 4 AM every 30 minutes. We were dropped off at Delta, even though Southwest is on the opposite side of the terminal.
I find myself asking if I would have preferred spending $ 150 all in for a room of my choice. Yes, I would, especially if I had more time. But I took a chance here and it was fine. Just fine.

This was a great hotel for the money. Flight got cancelled in ATL and I booked Here for $ 76. Perfect place to sleep the night and head back to airport on free shuttle.

Ok. Ok. I have to chime in because reading the reviews both on here and google have been very entertaining. It’s obvious that some of the people dumped here by Delta are already upset to begin with. I stayed here with my family over a holiday weekend. There was a baptist organization also having a holy convecation that same week. Perhaps this is why I did not get to meet any prostitutes (see other reviews).
The place obviously does a high turnover. Im sure it seea it’s fair share of partiers and air travelers. It could use some repairs from the heavy use. The water pressure is still good and the temperature scalding hot.
The beds were more comfortable than I expected. Don’t trust the bedspreads. The comfortors are clean and warm enough. The neighborhood is not bad, only a bit remote. There is a shuttle to the airport where you can then catch the rail transit system to get around town. The proximity of the airport and highway make a lot of noise, more so than any of the other patrons.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Great service. They bump this rating up half a star. The biggest complaint I have is the hotel is not cleaned up well enough. The trash cans in the lobby were always full with a few pieces scattered on the floor nearby. The room had an old dusty gum drop on the floor in plainview when we first checked in. And, yes, the filters in the airconditioners need to be changed as they smell.
Im not a fan of any free hotel breakfast and the one here looks like any other; thawed, hydrated, and heated before serving.
In conclusion. If you’re looking for a low price and dont mind well used furniture, unswepped corners, or the sounds of jet engines, then this is the place for you!

I am not surprised by the incredibly low ratings of the place. This place looked very old and several items in my room were in disrepair. One of my light fixtures did not work, the chair in my room was broken and not really safe to sit on. The shower head and bathroom fixtures were wobbly and looks like it might fall off. There was not enough electrical outlets. The cable TV did not seem to work.
However, the place was clean and quiet. The wifi and AC was working. The shower head had enough hot water and good water pressure. Ample amount of towels and free coffee. The complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. I loved the biscuit and gravy, and the sausages were big and juicy. The scrambled eggs were a little dry. The staff seemed friendly.
If they fix up the place, I sure this place would get higher reviews.

All reviews here are pretty much dead on. The odors vary depending on room, floor and lobby. This isn’t anywhere to stay unless absolutely forced.

Was put up in the Quality Inn by Delta due to a lay over. While the front desk staff was friendly, they managed to double book my room. At 5am while I am asleep, I had multiple individuals walk in to my room. I woke up before they saw me and asked for them to leave promptly. I see a lot of potential danger in the situation if they were dishonest people. I got the overall feel of the hotel being dirty. It smelled like weed in the hallway I was on and my room reeked of cigarettes. As far as the sleeping situation, they give you pillows that are about 1.5’X1.5′ squares. Multiple times I awoke to my head rolling off the pillow edge. I would not suggest staying in this establishment.

I chose to give up my seat on a Delta flight. This was the hotel they offered me. My first room smelled like booty-​the second smelled better. It’s an older 2-​star hotel. The amenities underscore that.
I didn’t get my wake-​up call and missed the shuttle to the airport. The front desk attendant seemed to want to accuse me of not following directions. She was exceptionally rude and unapologetic.
Like others, I would encourage you to request another hotel if possible. This is a dry, clean (in my experience) place to stay – better here than MANY other places. However, it wouldn’t be my first choice. I’ll reconsider surrendering my seat again.

The ride from the hotel where I was riding in a shuttle with soldiers from Ft Hood, was erratic. The driver Victor was rude and disrespectful to these soldiers. The hotel was nasty and looks old. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here ever. The front desk clerk was clearly inconvenienced by the hotel guests. The tub was dirty and had a ring of dirt in it. I was glad to get out of there.

Delta sent us here due to a flight delay. Had we known what it was like we would have gone to another facility
There is one restaurant/​bar, open amply limited hour. Although the food was good, the atmosphere was poor.
The «free» breakfast was poor. Yogurt was frozen solid. Variety of food was limited and institutional tasting ie waffles, sausage, grits.
Rooms are clean. Sound between room carry readily. Every time the people next door spoke, I was awakened.
The mattress is not very comfortable. Pillows were tiny and lumpy.
Towels were thin and snatch as is the toilet tissue.
Is you can avoid this place, definitely avoid it.

My flight was delayed and the airlines have me a voucher for this hotel. I read the reviews and was a little dissuaded by all the negative comments. But I was limited in funds and options so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. While the décor of the hotel is old, my room was clean and comfortable and just what I needed for a quick overnight stay. Transport to and from the airport was prompt and the front desk person was pleasant.

I got sent here thanks to Delta (pretty much like every other Unilocaler)… It isn’t a fine modern hotel by any stretch. But I don’t really have anything specific to complain about either. My room was clean, the staff seemed fine. The restaurant was kind of mediocre and overpriced. This isn’t really my idea of a good hotel, so I wouldn’t come back, but again — no specific complaints.

We stayed here overnight on Delta voucher. While waiting for the shuttle, I checked the reviews on Unilocal.I was really worried that this stay might turn out really bad based on what other have said so we had low expectations…
The lobby was nice enough and check-​in process was fast even with 5 or 6 ahead of us. We were assigned a room and when we got there, the ‘do not disturb’ sign was up. We opened it anyway and saw that there were some things on the bed. We left in a hurry, of course! The front desk staff told us that it was supposed to be empty and cleaned. She gave us another room and the rest of the stay was uneventful. We left very early in the morning so no chance to check other amenities.
Hotel needs updates but overall good enough for a quick overnight stay.

I’ve arrived at the airport and I’ve called for the shuttle. The staff was really rude and told me to wait and that it is not necessary to call. I think there was someone else that was keeping calling because the bus was not arriving and so they were really rude also with me.
After a long wait a bus of another hotel asked me where I need to go and he gave me a lift because the bus of the hotel never arrived.
I arrived at the hotel. There were probably 90 degrees in the room. In the same floor there was a super noisy school class that was still screaming at midnight.

Not what I am accustomed to from Quality. Room was good. The room was clean and quiet. Had everything I needed. Employees are friendly and helpful. Employees seemed over whelmed or tired of other guests were running a muck without parental supervision and I did feel their pain. They did well handling and enduring that crowd. Breakfast however was awful. Breads and cereal. Not even a waffle, but I slept well.

If you read this before Delta books this hotel for an overnight stay and can request another one, you should! I don’t know who else would stay at this place, honestly…
I don’t know where to begin… Maybe the name? Quality: not present, conference center: I doubt any conference would be held here…
Delta booked a room for me at this «hotel» due to a missed connecting flight and it’s been by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve been in bad hotels in foreign countries. The place was filthy: the carpets were dirty and smelled awful, the AC didn’t cool down the room, the bed was uncomfortable to say the least and they had square pillows only. The worst were the towels which were all stained and smelly.
There aren’t places close by but a McDonald’s (this McDonald’s would be part of a different review with the same rating… you know what I mean?) and it’s really dark if you decide to walk there. If you do so, you may also see a cockroach or four on the way…
Don’t stay here! Run away!

Yes, Delta «dumped» me here. Funny thing is, there definitely wasn’t anything wrong with my plane… but they told me something was wrong with the plane after I heard them tell the woman in front of me (who missed the same connection) it was due to the weather and there was nothing they could do for her. As I was about to lay into them I was handed a hotel voucher, the woman behind me received one as well… maybe medallion status does mean something? Or there was the whole Valentine’s Day flip out. Moving on…
Anywho having done the stranded in Atlanta bit a few times I made my way to the shuttle zone and wandered to #3. Waited and waited for a shuttle (they leave every 30 minutes it seems from both the hotel and the airport).
Upon getting to the hotel, it wasn’t gorgeous, but it wasn’t a run down place where I was scared heroin addicts were going to try to break into my room like the other review make it out to be. (note, I didn’t actually view the place in daylight).
The staff was friendly and made sure I had basic toiletries, and apologized profusely that they only had rooms on the first floor (I know as a female traveler i am supposed to get butt hurt and scared over that, it doesn’t phase me). I didn’t get any hits on restaurants near by so I went to the hotel bar and had a chef salad and a few beers. Not bad 3 drinks and a large meal for under $ 30. The menu is nothing to write home about, but at least they have food.
Room was clean enough, bathroom had hot water and plenty of towels. Good enough to take a shower, call emergency travel services for a better flight, use the free wifi, and charge my phone and get a few hours of shut eye before going back to the airport at 5am. I didn’t have to pay and have stayed in worse in my travels. I’m happy to have had one less thing to figure out logistically when stranded.

Flight canceled and this is the accommodations we are given? Oh wow! I use to work in a Quality Inn hotel in Chicago, and I don’t ever remember it looking like this!
I would equate it to the Bates Motel, since they did stick us in the corner room next to the fire escape that honestly looked as if a murder suicide could of easily taken place there. Not cool at all.
The rooms are clean except that the toilet was rusted on the sides and I was scared it would fall through if I decided to do more than just tinkle. Any who, we (the child and I) were given two rooms. This one was #415 and the other I believe was # 403 across from elevators. Why would you give us two rooms that are half a mile from each other. Ummm, my child freaked out so since they were double beds, I said: no worries, we will stay in one. The first one though seemed to not have working lights so we moosied on does to the next one.
Around 1:30 AM, someone was trying to come in to the room (true story). I looked through the key hole and noticed an older looking woman trying to fit her key into the slot. I said: «Hello someone is in here». And she yelled: «Well this is the one they gave me!» I offered her the other one, but she said that she would just go downstairs and insist she gets another room. After this I couldn’t get back to sleep so I just closed my eyes only to get back up in 3 hours for our plane.
Bates Motel, that’s all I can say!
