John F Lippert DDS

Dr. Lippert is wonderful. I initially went to Dr. Lippert to get a second opinion on a root canal suggestion from another dentist in Greenbelt. This Greenbelt dentist said that my tooth had decayed under a filling because there was a tiny hole in the filling and that it was pertinent to get a root canal and crown ASAP before my tooth started hurting. My tooth was not hurting at all at the time, so I went to Dr. Lippert for a second opinion. He said that he could take the current filling out, clean the area, and then re-​fill it, and that a root canal did not seem necessary. I obviously went with his less-​painful suggestion– this was several years ago and that filling and tooth are still doing great! Since then, I’ve gotten another filling and come here for my annual cleanings. His office staff are very friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist (who handles appointment bookings and takes care of all of the insurance paperwork) to his dental assistants (who do the cleaning and xrays). Dr. Lippert himself is obviously very skilled and knows what he is doing. It is hard to find a good dentist, Dr. Lippert is one of the good (actually, great) ones. I highly recommend him.
