Cedar Ridge Apartments

Absolutely the WORST rental experience of my family’s life. First of all, the apartments are TINY. There is absolutely NO storage space at all. We had to rent a storage unit across town. Every month, the owner and manager snooped in our back patio and looked in on us in our apartment. Why? Perverts? Just guessing. There were constant notices about how many potted plants (veggies) we could have and where on the patio or in front of the door. We were written up once because there was dirt on the dirt hill on the other side of our fenced in patio. On one occasion, the maintenance guy just walked into our apartment without knocking or announcing himself. Good thing everyone was dressed. Our neighbors were repeatedly harassed by management because they smoked medicinal marijuana, even though the owner reportedly grows it and sells it himself. My kids were constantly spied on with binoculars by management and followed down forest trails by the owner. Apparently, it’s illegal to hike near this apartment complex and completely appropriate to use binoculars on a 16 year old girl. Our guests who were comprised of friends and family were told that they could not park in guest parking, had their license plate numbers taken down and vehicles photographed for absolutely NO reason whatsoever. And finally when we managed to buy a home in another city, we moved out and were charged TWICE our deposit. I wouldn’t recommend this complex to my worst enemy and so to you, my Unilocal friend… I wholeheartedly recommend that you steer as clear and far away from this place as possible. There are FAR better rental options in the area and I wish you luck in finding one of them. This place is a pit.
