Dr. Richard J. Hartman, Jr., Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon opened his business in Coldwater, Michigan in August of 2000. He wanted to provide care and services to the residents of Branch County and extend his care to the surrounding counties of Hillsdale and Steuben (Northern Indiana). The mission of his Practice is dedicated to serve the community with high quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the most advanced technology.

Richard J. Hartman, Jr., D.O. FAOAO is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in Total Knee and Total Hip Replacements, Arthroscopy of knees and shoulders, carpal tunnel, fracture care and trauma. Dr. Hartman performs surgeries at both The Community Health Center of Branch County, in Coldwater, Michigan, as well as Cameron Memorial Hospital located in Angola, Indiana. Dr. Hartman also has on-​site physical therapy, Omega Physical Therapy, located within the Practice, enabling patients the convenience of rehabilitation and return to normal activities of daily living. Dr. Hartman has spoken both Nationally and Internationally on topics of total joint replacement, and was one of the first Orthopedic surgeons to utilize computer assisted knee replacements in Michigan.
