We specialize in spalted woods of Oak, Maple, Flaming Box Elder, Diamond Willow, Lilac, Cottonwood, Elm and Plum. We are creators of handcrafted rustic furniture and wood art sculptures. We also provide wood blanks for your wood working projects.

History

Established in 2000.

We discovered over 10 years ago that most of our wood in our forest in central MN spalts. Spalting occurs when the forest canopy has certain elements. These elements when combined produce the beautiful black line detailing and highly figured wood that only natural spalting can create. Spalted wood is considered prized wood by wood workers throughout the world.

Carpenter by trade. In business for past 12 years as RCJ Handcrafted Wood which Hand Crafts Many specialty furniture, Fire Place Mantels, Banister and Railings, Outdoor Sculptures, Art Pieces and custom Orders from window box planters to bed headboards and frames. Ron discovered years ago that his forest creates SPALTED wood in almost all of the species. Flaming Box Elder, Maples, Oak, Cottonwood, Ash, Lilac, Diamond Willow and more. Spalted wood is considered prized wood by many wood workers throughout the world. Ron has always enjoyed working with wood and has a passion for being in the forest and discovering natures beauties every day. Currently he employees 35 people and is in the progress of developing a E-​Commerce Marketing Program.
