Lapels Dry Cleaning

For dry cleaning, please disregard the 1 star rating on here– The dry cleaning staff is very nice and accommodating, professional and reliable. I have never used the tailor, so I can’t speak to that service at all. I can request my dry cleaning to be finished on a specific date, and they do everything they can to honor my request– even if I need many things the following day. Pricing-​wise, they are average, but I regularly receive coupons, and they do accept competitors’ coupons as well (which is rare for a business to do). They also have two great rewards programs as well, so with everything combined, you can’t beat the price. I have not tried the delivery service, but it’s nice to know that it’s available if I need it.

Horrible service. I would actually give no stars if an option. I have never written a bad review, but this business is unprofessional and unreliable. I made an appointment to meet with the tailor on a Saturday to alter my rehearsal dinner dress for my wedding that was in less than 2 weeks. I was very precise in what I wanted done, and the tailor assured me it was possible and it would be ready that coming Friday. I asked her if at any point she did not think it would be possible, to please call me and I would purchase another dress. I went to pick it up that Friday and it wasn’t there. I requested the tailor call me. She said she had, «Been looking at it all week and had not started it yet.» She also said she was going to try a «Hail Mary» on it. I immediately called the owner and asked that she NOT do any work on it and that I was going to pick it up the next morning and to have it there. The owner apologized, but nothing other than that. He recommended that I go next door to «Couture Tailors Tuxedo» which I was already planning on and did, and she was AMAZING! Tatyana did it in 2 days and it was perfect! Couture is right next to Lapels, so I would definitely go to «Couture Tailors» instead of Lapels.

The folks that work here are really nice but they cannot get dress shirts right. I was using Lapels since they opened out of convenience and my shirts consistently came back pressed poorly with creases and wrinkles on them. They would gladly take them back to fix. Unfortunately, the quality is not dependable enough.
