When you walk in you can instantly feel the wonderful energy beaming. You want to buy up everything in the place, everywhere you turn you see the coolest stones, crystals, literature, incense, jewelry etc. I was looking for a gift and everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful. I landed on the coolest chakra stone bracelet. David and his crew are amazing!

Love this store, my friend goes often and took me for the first time. Loved everything I saw, I purchased crystals and a pendant. Can’t wait to go back :)

I walked into this store for the first time about a week ago. I was looking for some items for my move to a new apartment in a new city. Melissa and Wendy helped me out that evening. Melissa was very patient with me since I had a lot of questions. It was such a wonderful and calming experience with the help of Melissa. I walked out with exactly what I needed for this move. I will definitely be shopping with them again, even if my items get shipped to me.

Last night we stopped by store. The array of items is great. Cynthia helped us with our crystal purchases and was super helpful. Great job with the store Kristin, the manager!!!

I made my first purchase at the store yesterday and had a great experience. I wish I had gotten the women’s name; but, both cashier attendants were abundantly helpful and directed me to follow them on Instagram (@celestialtreasures) for a store discount. Can’t wait till im back in town to visit again. :)

This boutique New Age store is a pathetic excuse for a business. They sell products of low quality and their attitude sucks. The man who runs the shop obviously forgot to attend his Minding my Manners class this morning after projecting his ruthless, unwarranted behavior toward me. I’m exquisitely shocked that any running business could possibly show such unprofessionalism as the one I experienced today.
After looking for a mirror around the entire store, I managed to fine one tiny, dusty mirror attached to a stand with a rubber band. Naturally, I picked it up, and out fell some hidden compartment within it. Instead of being calm, the man simply snatched the mirror out of my hand and told me that I had «done a number on it»… after adding that he had fixed it once before. (Why would anyone keep a semi-​broken item in their store anyway?) After I apologized, he attacked me still with remarks about how I should have stopped and read the signs around the store about asking for assistance. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I grabbed a hand mirror, not some golden encrusted statue of the manure they represent!
If that wasn’t enough, here’s a further extension about just how discordant he is with the basic principles of running a successful business: In walks a lady (prospective customer). She starts to browse the store… perhaps looking for a gift or a personal item. She comes across some wind bells and touches them. The man uncannily tells her, «I have that item on sale. I’ll give it to you for the same price I bought it for. Ten dollars. It doesn’t really sound so good.» How does he expect to lure customers to purchase from the store, when he admits his inventory is crap? She unsurprisingly walked away.
It’s unfortunate to note that a store of metaphysics and healing is projecting such negative energy in their workplace for others to absorb. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Thank you Celestial Treasures for awakening me to the realms of human ignorance. Your teachings will not be forgotten.

I try to make it a point to walk into Celestial Treasures every time I go to the Grove. Although they are a little pricey, and I can find all their books on Amazon for a significant discount, I am all about supporting local mom and pops, and will pay a higher price for convenience. Today, however, is the last time I will ever step foot in that store. Sandra Richardson, who I think owns the store, is fairly nice and always smiling. The other girl that works there is pretty nice and helpful too.
The man who works there, however, carries himself with an extraordinarily demeaning attitude, is ungentlemanly, has NO customer service skills and radiates an energy that will shrivel a rose into ashes and make lead boil. He has always been a bit rude, but today he topped himself, so much so that it inspired me to write my second Unilocal review, and NEVER return to the store.
I stopped by today with my girlfriend before grabbing a bite to eat at Green Street. My girlfriend likes to make jewelry out of stones, and Celestial Treasures has an okay selection. I was looking through the bookshelves for any good book on magick I could find. I offer to buy my girlfriend a stone and she spent time looking for the perfect one to turn into jewelry. Because they are $ 3 and I only had a credit card, I felt bad just buying the stone and picked a book.
I had asked the man some questions about the books he carried to which he only gave rude and unhelpful responses. My girlfriend was looking at the stone through a dusty mirror they had on the shelf, and by accident a hidden drawer in the mirror falls on the floor.
The man FLIPS his shit and starts yelling at her. She said she was sorry, and even though the man said it had already been broken, he continues screaming at her with so much anger and negative energy. He yells at us and says that they were already closed (didn’t tell us when we walked in) and if we weren’t going to buy anything to get out.
Apparently his mind is so perfect that he doesn’t realize accidents happen, and even though it was an easy quick fix he kept on attacking my girlfriend with his angry words. He storms to the back room in his temper tantrum, and then returns and keeps on throwing jabs at my girlfriend.
My girlfriend is the kindest most beautiful girl a guy can lay his eyes on, and she felt bad when the accident happened and apologized immediately. The man, Don or Dan I think his name is, must have never learned how to treat a lady, or maybe lost his virginity too late in life and has repressed sexual energy, because his attitude was similar to a pre-​pubescent boy that throws a hissy fit and stomps his tiny sneakers on the floor whenever things don’t go his way. Whatever magic that poor excuse for a gentleman practices is leading him down a treacherous path. He should pick himself up a Crowley or Regardie book and learn how to banish properly (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram is a good start) because it is obvious that he has no control of his passions and dark spirits are yanking his puppet strings.
After his second round of attacks on my girlfriend she was so mortified and overwhelmed by his negativity that she, one of the strongest and most tolerant people I know, left in tears. The experience left her shocked that people can behave in such a disgusting way over something so trivial.
If you are planning on visiting Celestial Treasures, DON’T. There are a lot more reasonable alternatives. Plus their book selection has been watered down and, while it has maybe two or three gems, is mostly full of pompous, sensational pseudo-​New Age garbage that any 4 year old with an imagination can pen.
If you are looking for good books on yoga or Magick, go to
and look up Aleister Crowley, Israel Regardie, Dion Fortune, Manly P. Hall, Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda. They are the authorities whose ideas most contemporary authors relentlessly copy and push as their own to the unenlightened and easily pleased masses.
If you are looking for crystals and stones, there is a great local dealer at the farmers market on Grand Avenue in the Grove on Saturdays.
If you are looking for good herbs and oils,
is the best.
Psychic readings = 93% crap, especially if they charge. Joy in life comes from cutting your own path through the jungle.
Whatever you are looking for, there are many other alternatives that are more economical and carry better energy than Celestial Treasures. I hate to have to write this review, and the other people that work there shouldn’t have to suffer negative publicity over the imbecile and childish acts of one of their co-​workers, but his words and actions are unacceptable and unbecoming of what you expect for a store that markets itself as promoting healing and spirituality. No matter what, you never let a customer, let alone a lady, leave your store in tears.
More like Infernal Treasures!

I want a small Buddha statue. I went into the store last Friday hoping to find one. The owner seemed like a nice guy. He told me he did not have any statues out, but he had about five of them in the boxes behind him. He had, apparently, just gotten a shipment and had not had enough time to unload all of the merchandise. He told me if I came back next week he would surely have them out. So, today is Thursday and I went back. I got the exact same story. It’s not like the store is very busy. I was the only customer in the place, and the owner was just sitting there. Looks like I will buy my little Buddha statue on Amazon.

To be a New Age bookstore, it has poor Feng Shui. I opened the door and was stopped dead on my tracks by a multi-​faced Buddha head on a table. For a quick second I felt like turning around, but I gathered my nerves and walked around it. I’m glad I did because I enjoyed the store.
To your right side of the shop you will find figurines, jewelry, crystals, totems, all essentials to help you meditate or improve your spiritual life, while on your left side you have an impressive amount of incenses, candles, herbs for cleansing and tarot card decks. Intertwined with all this merchandise you will find bookcases filled with books covering a vast array of topics, all regarding spirituality. There’s books on Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age Spirituality, Psychics, Wicca, Shamanism, etc. Possibly because of the small space the collection of books is very mainstream but excellent for beginners. I didn’t see any obscure literature so if that is what you are looking for, call before showing up.
Besides the merchandise there is a psychic on site. That’s an added bonus. I didn’t speak to the psychic, so I am basing this review on the merchandise only. For that reason, and because of the scarcity of New Age shops, Celestial Treasures should be your next stop.

This place is so cool :) I wanted to buy incense and hate getting them from stores like walmart or target because they usually stink. This place has a decent selection of stick incense (no cones), oils, and other aromatics. They also have mala beads, lots of crystals, books, statues, jewelery, etc. I wish I had more time to look around. The lady in the front was very nice and not pushy. It’s small but packed with neat stuff.

When I first walked into this place a couple of years ago I thought to myself…“what the heck are you doing here?” Then I had a flashback to when I was younger (in college) and doing rune readings for fun during my hardcore goth days. I knew I was drawn to this place for a reason. I really love the book selection and the array of different stones, statues and trinkets. The place smells of nag and the people are very helpful and fun. I like to browse the latest books on Runes and ponder the way it has evolved or just peruse the stones and their meanings. Celestial Treasures is exactly what this place is. You can call it a modern day card reader but it really does not cover its entire meaning. It really offers a whole lot more for all your spiritual needs. I was very impressed with their selection of psychics and priestesses too.
Sandra Richardson actually performed the ceremony for my friends wedding and she did a great job. That was my first Wiccan wedding and it really was an unexpected joy to see. I was very impressed at how beautiful the ceremony was.
The store has moved to a new location on main highway in that same little mall. It is not tucked away in the corner next to the bike shop any more. They have really improved their selection even including books on cd and a big health section. It is quite the new age hang out.

so I’m not the superstitious type, but this kind of stuff always intrigues me. I found myself one day walking around the grove after lunch with a friend and all of a sudden we were drawn by the scent of lavender incense, which led us to this little hidden corner. We went in not really looking for anything in particular and perused around for a bit, playing with the jewelry, smelling the candles and oils, etc. This place is super comfortable, not like a creepy «witchcraft» store, but more like a hippies’ living room.
We noticed a sign on the corner that had psychic reading prices. My friend thought it’d be fun, but the prices were kind of expensive and varied with the psychics. So she decided to inquire about it. The lady sitting on the main table agreed to do a shared reading (which she never does because she doesn’t capture the persons «aura» fully) of ½ an hour for the both of us for $ 40, because she felt «good vibes» from us (mind you her readings are usually $ 65 for ½ and $ 120 for the full) and I thought, what the heck, lets do it, my life is kinda shitty now, lets see what she has to tell me.
Rev. Sandra Cheryl Richardson is a pro! What a kick-​ass lady, she took us to the back room, which is more like a back closet, but this only enhanced the experience so don’t expect a round table and a crystal ball. We ended up talking to her for over an hour, and she still charged us what she promised. Not only that but she «read» I had been into wicca (yeah…don’t crack, I know you watched The Craft in middle school too… don’t judge me), and she proceeded to give me a couple of books on getting back to my «spirituality». She didn’t want to charge me!!! When she was looking at her cards she asked us what we wanted to know about, but told us to be as vague as possible. Even so, she was super accurate on many things. Honestly she made a believer out of me for that day, not only that but she gave us things for free!

If you need some incense, there’s a huge selection. Buddha statues, healing crystals, jewelry made by local artists, «quotable» cards, I could go on. There are also card readers there on certain days who are top notch (I get readings every so often) and classes. I can’t say enough about the place. Go visit, pick up a book that interests you, hang out, ask questions. Reconnect with your divine connection and share it with others!
