Customer Service? Very Poor service at this store. It was like they were doing Me a Favor.

Wow! Look like the last review for this establishment was in 2011… Well, this is the letter that I emailed to the owner of the store today, 2÷27÷14 – Self explanatory… Good morning… I’m writing to inform you that I experienced bad customer service at your store late yesterday afternoon…(2÷26÷14) I had a package that needed to be shipped out yesterday for overnight delivery and I’ve been driving for almost an hour to locate a UPS store, since our regular UPS guy came by our office earlier than expected to pick up my package. Once I arrived to your store, I was NOT greeted nicely by one of your employee, with the light hair, with bulky built! The first thing that came out of his mouth was do I need a receipt… I didn’t hear him at first because I was rushing to find a store that has no UPS pick-up yet! So, I asked him if it was too late. All he could say that do I need a receipt! I was like, «fine!» — I’ll play his game… I answered him back then I asked again! Good customer service is to answer the customer’s question and not be «cocky» about it and with manners! He was just absolutely rude! You had another customer in the store there, when I arrived… He looked at your employee and gasp, thinking«wow!» — did he just give her an attitude? Since, this is a self-proprietor business — this would need to be address! I would never come back to this store again… I went out of my way, and I was treated poorly!

I’ve used plenty of these shipping stores over the years, and the service and assistance I got at this location was above & beyond. Visiting from out of town, I needed help shipping several large shipments of glassware from my mother’s to my own(domestic) and my brother’s(international) home. I went in this local UPS store, and while there was a steady stream of customers, the owner provided me with several options and pricing for packing and shipping, and he and his staff were helpful throughout. I ended up choosing to do partial packaging at home myself, bringing the boxes into the store for his assistance with final packaging as well as the necessary customs and shipping documents for international packages. I know finding such personalized service seems harder and harder all the time, which made me appreciate the help in this great, locally-owned shop even more!
