I shopped around several local carpet stores and didn’t find anything I liked that was in my meager budget, so I decided to visit Home Depot, and I was greeted by Bob. He was great, he showed me all the economical carpets and explained all the options. Ordering was a breeze and as promised, the carpet was installed in 3 business days. Very organized and the subcontractor appeared when he said he would, called before he was coming and did a great job with the installation. The carpet was cheaper option, but you wouldn’t know it from the looks of it. Very affordable. Thank You!

I recently started some home renovation and needed some paint matching. I met CJ & Sharon at the Paint department. They knew so much about paint, I was shocked and felt like I was in a paint specialty store. The colors matched perfectly. I was very pleased with their excellent service. Thank you for simplifying my DIY project.

Out of stock on everything, non-​knowledgable staff, understaffed, only one cashier on duty for the whole store. This store should get a new manager. If not — I’d bet it will close down in a year or so.

Janet in the garden section was Very knowledgable about plants & fertilization. Very helpful & courteous. I will seek her out again for advise.

Being a handy guy and since being involved in the construction industry for 20 years, you could imagine I’ve been to many Home Depot locations and been to them many many times…
The location I frequent the most is located along Hillsboro Boulevard adjacent to Interstate 95… great customer service but inventory is limited… not as in they never have product in stock but they are actually a smaller store (a mini-​store if you will); so from time to time I have to go a bit further to one of the many full-​sized locations. This is exactly what brought me to «THIS» location yesterday… but I’ll tell you about that experience in a moment… let me start from the beginning.
MONTHS AGO
Damn roof leak did a number on some walls in my home that needed some serious attention… I needed to purchase a variety of drywall materials to do these repairs, so I jumped into «THIS» location… my shopping list included a full sheet of Gypsum Board, a roll of Mesh Drywall Tape, a container of Joint Compound and a couple stripes of Drywall Corner Bead…
I’m not completely familiar with where everything is located… I walked to the area I thought these materials would be but with no luck I asked someone with an orange Home Depot shirt and was surprised that he didn’t know and excused himself. My understanding is that ALL Home Depot employees are supposed to know where all general products are located… but this one didn’t. I found everything on my list (ON MY OWN) and just excused this disappointing customer service as a one-​time thing; hopefully a single event for a bad day he was having.
YESTERDAY
So my walls are repaired and I’m onto a couple new projects… I jumped into the Deerfield Beach store for some Rubber Screw-​On Bumpers (to protect the base of my patio chairs) but again the selection was limited and I once again had to go to a larger store… and here I am «AGAIN» at «THIS» location.
Like other locations, there was a door greeter as I walked in BUT she did not say hi or even acknowledge me; whatever.
I grabbed my Bumpers and before leaving I figured my lawn and garden could use some fertilizer, so I exited outside to their garden department. I grabbed a bag of lawn fertilizer but the bags of 10−10−10 for my shrubs had no prices posted.
I walked over to the garden center checkout registers (where there were no customers at the moment) and there were two female employees laughing and chatting about something… as a store guests obviously standing there for a reason, the two girls should have dropped their chit chat and asked what they could do for me… but nope, they didn’t do that right away.
When I interrupted, one girl walked away and I asked the other one if she knew the price of the 10−10−10 since the price is not posted. Her reply, «NO»… no offer to get it, no offer to tell me where to get it, no explanation such as bring bag to her for scan… just «NO»…
I walked away and saw another Home Depot employee… she was in the middle of talking to another shopper and I was a bit perplexed by her tone with him. He wanted a fertilizer with a specific use and she was kind of reprimanding him about mishandling his trees, «you’re killing them» and «you’re doing it all wrong». Regardless, I just wanted a price so I stood far enough back to give them space but close enough that I obviously needed assistance… I’m patient and after a few minutes she says lets talk inside… no recognition that she’d be back to me, no give me a moment, no acknowledgement at all (why does this feel so familiar?).
I started to leave but saw her free up a moment later so I asked her if she knew the price I still needed for 10−10−10… she said she could scan it and began to ask my use and why that one… I know she was trying to share her knowledge but I knew what I needed and didn’t want to be reprimanded but I’d be lying if I didn’t say she spoke a bit condescending… shocking since she doesn’t know me or know my skills. I grabbed my bags and moved on…
I returned to the same checkout girl that was un-​helpful earlier. As she went to scan my bumpers and fertilizers bags I asked if she had more plastic or paper liner (they normally have rolls to lay down in your truck to avoid making a mess but I noticed the roll was empty)… Again she was short with her reply with «NO»… I reply «no, as in you are out or no you don’t do that anymore»… she didn’t really answer… she continued to keep it short with «we don’t have»… the bags were dirty and I have a clean car so I left them behind…
I was so annoyed that I just wanted to leave… but truthfully I regret not asking for a manager. I’m not saying this store is all bad but my last two experiences were and this review reflects just that. I just hope the manager is better than this…
PLEASE Home Depot… hire with better customer service in mind… PLEASE

Always have work to do around the house and this is usually my go to spot… Got some carpets put in 3 rooms last year through them. Installers did a great job. Also just had my AC replaced back in May. Air America is contracted my Home Depot so you know they are doing the job right. Some of the prices are a little high but other than that I love the place.

Home Depot is a great place to find whatever you may need to do some remodeling or simple home repairs. I’ve always found the staff to be helpful and friendly and they have a great return policy so if it doesn’t work, you can bring it back.
I came to Home Depot to find an obscure bus fuse for my A/​C compressor unit, but I’ve been here many times. After asking one of the helpful associates I found what I needed quickly. The associate also took the time to explain a little more about the problem I was having and the product I was buying.
I know some reviewers are not happy with this location but I always seem to have a good experience with few exceptions. Overall I give Home Depot 4 stars as a great place to go for home improvement items.

Great store, great service! Ed in the light bulbs section and Mel at the tool rentals were friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help!

If your looking for some help and questions don’t come to this Home Depot store. I waited 30 min at the electrical department and I asked 5 people who work here to call someone who knows about the bulbs. They called multiple times and no one showed up. Bad customer service.

Came in after work looking for a few items, and even though it was still 2hrs before closing, there were already closing many garden isles cuz they were bringing down item pallets down during store hours. Many isles of which had items I needed. Then when I got tired of finding every isle I needed close. So I said screw it, and went in to get what I needed. At which time I heard one of the employees insulting me from a distance because I wouldnt wait till 10pm when they would have finished. Like I have time to hang out in stores for the hell of it. It was very rude and unprofessional of him to be talking about me like that. They should not be doing all this stuff during business hours if it means closing many isles!!!

Once again i go into this Home Depot location looking for an item that should take me five minutes to locate and leave. i asked three different associates to assist me in finding my item and each pointed me in the general direction, but were too busy to help me find it, even though they were not busy with another ustomer and the store was fairly empty. the last associate i dealt with seemed put out to assist me as well, but walked to what i was looking for to tell me they were out of the item. VERY poor customer service again. i will now take the extra five minute drive to go to Lowe’s.

This location is located on the corner of Wiles Road and US 441. They are never extremely busy here. It’s clean, for a hardware store. The associates are friendly and helpful. The layout is like a typical Home Depot. No surpises. Easy to return items, no hassle. I don’t have much to say except I definitely come here when I need something.

They’re moderately helpful here, which isn’t saying much, especially when your entire business model depends on people buying things they only know marginal information about and are relying on you to «close the knowledge gap».
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve walked in to this place and walked back out without a thing in my hands. Then I head over to Lowe’s, which is within a mile from here. Much better. I actually leave there feeling like I’m about to get something done.
I don’t like this place, and I don’t want to come back, but I probably will. It’s weird, I can’t explain it, and I know I won’t be happy. Ugh.

Love the express check out. Always love when everyone is waiting in line and the person in charge of the express says… were wide open over here!

Salesman ignored me for 10 minutes then when I talk to him I have to almost force him to check the stock for an item. Then the customer service rep at counter was rude when I asked to search other stores for item, would only give near by store would not lookup stores by my house or call.
