Doug’s Amoco & Towing

I was on my way to Orlando on a Family vacation when my Nissan Armada broke down on exit 195 and I95. I called AAA to have me towed.
I was towed by Dougs automotive and Towing in Rockledge FL. It was a very hot summer day and it took AAA 90 minutes to get there. I was diffentltly consirned to who was going to repair my vehicle and if I was going to get ripped off.
When I met George at the shop I was put at ease. He was from Connecticut and had that honest work ethic. He was kind and honest and since he couldn’t repair the vehicle the same day he arranged a shuttle for my family of 5 plus luggage to get to Orlando from Coco Beach, FL for $ 133. He honored my warranty on the altenator. The next day I picked up the vehicle as promised and the bill was only for labor $ 122.
This goes to show you that there is some honest people left on the planet and explains why he has been in business for over 20 years.
I wish he was located in Fort Lauderdale. If you are going to break down on the highway hopefully it’s in Rockledge/​Coco Beach area. I highly recommend having your towed to Dougs Auto aka Amoco. Be to ask for George.
