Meet the Business Owner
Debbie G.
Business Owner
To say owner Debbie loves to cook and bake is an understatement. While she worked in the medical industry for 20 years prior to opening the bakery & café in April 2013 with her husband Randy, she has always loved to be in the kitchen.
Even though she wasn’t always paid, she says she has always had people over to the house to eat, and participated in lots of nonprofit bake sales.
Lots and lots, she jokes.
«A lot of what I’ve learned simply came from watching others,» she says. «I love the creativity that cooking and baking allow. Obviously, I love to see people enjoying my food — but I also like the idea of food as something that brings people together in a warm atmosphere.»
Additionally, her sister Rachel, daughter Danielle and friend Tracy Cook are often found helping out in the kitchen.
«It’s been a lot of fun working with family,» she said. «I’m blessed and extremely grateful for their support.»
