History

Established in 1986.

Art & Architecture was established 29 years ago by Susan Salvo, Architect to provide architectural design services to residential and commercial projects as well as architectural illustration services to the design community. Mrs Salvo grew up in her father’s drafting room and graduated from North Carolina State University School of Design. Her love of drawing and designing lead her to also pursue training at Harvard University in architectural illustration. Today Art & Architecture specializes in renovation and additions to existing buildings.

Business Owner

Susan A. Salvo has 29 years experience in architectural design and illustration. A registered architect and a graduate of North Carolina State University’s School of Design and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, Mrs. Salvo has been involved in projects as an associate with the office of F. Daniel Cathers & Associates & Stampfl Hartke & Associates, L.L.C., Mrs. Salvo acted as Project architect/​manager. Her responsibilities included architectural design, project scheduling and management, presentation and construction administration. for such notable clients as The National Geographic Foundation and The New York City Transit Authority. Her illustrations have won inclusion in the nationally recognized juried show of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators.
