The Clovis Castle

I haven’t gotten married here but how can I when nobody answers their phone. Tried for two weeks and some days the phone is off. I don’t know if I want to put money down on a place where I feel unsure. My advice, look somewhere else.

From a vendor and guest’s perspective, this place is AMAZING! Shout out to Ashley for the hospitality and service. I just DJ’d my friend’s wedding this past weekend and we all had an amazing time. The ambiance was just wonderful. The ceremony and reception areas were beautifully arranged to create excellent backgrounds and pictures. Oh, and valet parking??? For reals? YES!!!
Ashley and her staff were very helpful and made it super easy for me to set up and take down my equipment. They even had an extra room for me to change and get ready. The food was EXCELLENT! Filet mignon, salmon and veggies were perfectly cooked with great flavor.
I’m booked to DJ there again for another friend’s wedding later on this month and I am definitely looking forward to another great time.
If you are considering this place to get married, I HIGHLY recommend The Clovis Castle. And if you need a DJ, Call Me! (cheap plug. I know. but you know I had to. LOL!) :-)

Had my beautiful wedding there in July. It was like a dream, everything was as promised. Hands down the most beautiful place to get married in town – there was no way I was going to get married behind Costco! Best. Day. Ever. Thank you!

My wife and I had our wedding here just last month in October 2013. I know they may have had some hiccups in the past, but they are running like a well oiled machine now. Everything worked out perfectly. They are so dialed in.
The beauty of what they do is that it is basically an all-​inclusive venue. That removes much of the stress of planning all of the different vendors. I believe that if you let Katie (the wedding planner there) do her job and let the castle do their job, it will come out great.
My wife was not a bridezilla with a thousand requests. We let them do what they do best and their isn’t a single thing I would’ve changed. Everything from Travis the photographer, the cake, the food, it all made our night great. We also stayed there overnight and had breakfast served to our door followed by massages.
Amazing experience.

I got my refund 3 ½ months later. I forgot to mention that most of the music I requested wasn’t played and we were suppose to get a bubble entrance and sparkler exit. Still stumped if you want to book this place check out this website
. Same exact layout, speil and guide just like the clovis castle. Review this place too, you’ll find the same reviews the clovis castle gets. If your looking to book this place because it’s outdoors like I was, then I recommend wolf lakes or holland park. Beautiful venues that will run you about as much as the clovis castle will.

My wedding was yesterday evening! The important things went well, e.g., food and drinks. But, many of the small details that I spent time planning went unnoticed, like my gorgeous programs that were not displayed in a place for guests to see. Champagne was not put on tables prior to toasts, music that was requested was not played, and the lighting was different than as promised. The staff is very nice and helpful, but they are quite busy! I would recommend this place if you don’t have time to plan the coordination of the large vendors for your wedding, but not if you are detail oriented yourself and want to plan special details.
Of course my pictures are not finished, but the photographer was GREAT! He made us feel comfortable and took some great shots! I am sure the photos will capture all the good moments and I’ll forget about the minor things that went wrong.

We fell in love with the Clovis castle online. I requested information online, my mother and I both called and left messages to see the venue for my upcoming wedding. After a week I heard nothing, despite even leaving message via Facebook as well. At one point the voicemail box wasn’t even accepting messages bc it was too full. Finally, after a week of daily calls I got an answer. The owner said I could come up that day to look at the venue bc there was an opening on March 23. The grounds were stunning. We received a quote and I requested an additional number to reach him. He said he would email my quote as well as a new number to reach him bc I needed to let him know my answer or else he was going to give the date away. (He gave me 3 days). The very next day I called bc I had some additional questions, got no answer. I also sent a text message, bc he assured me this was an ideal way to get in touch with him. I received no response. I felt his lack of professionalism and lack of eagerness to assist me in my wedding was unacceptable. Also, through mutual friends I’ve heard the owner had double booked a couples wedding this past summer. Good luck if you choose this for your wedding venue. We were not impressed.
