Dr. Evans is fantastic. When my baby was first born and losing weight due to milk supply issues, Dr. Evans went above and beyond her normal duties to help me get my baby and me on the right track. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Evans. However, I had to change pediatricians because my baby’s vaccination schedule was altered when Dr. Evans was on vacation. Peachwood was so booked that my baby was going to be a month late for 4 month vaccinations. Then when I called to confirm that appointment, the office had no record of it/​lost it. They wanted to reschedule for another month out. I told them it was unacceptable to be walking around unvaccinated/​2 months late on vaccines. I asked if we could see another doctor temporarily. The lady said no. I advised her that I’d have to change pediatricians. She said, «Ok.» It’s unfortunate to lose the amazing Dr. Evans, but it’s unsafe to be two months late on vaccinations.

Worth it for the doctors. However, be prepared to wait. Every time we’ve had an appointment we’ve always waited at least 30−45mins.

Having recently moved to the area, I needed to find a pediatrician for my children. I struck gold on my first attempt! Dr. van Beever has excellent bedside manner and was quite easily able to put my two year-​old at ease. Easy-​going and approachable, he seems a fine pediatrician. As far as the practice is concerned, the receptionist Linda was extremely friendly, both on the phone and in-​person, and the office staff and nurse were equally kind and accommodating. If you are looking for a top-​notch pediatric practice, this would appear to fit the bill.

Dr Van Beever is a really great pediatrician. I have been to three different pediatricians looking for «the one», for my now 1 year old son, and he is it! He is fun, energetic and very knowledgeable. My husband and I feel like we finally found a good pediatrician that we can trust! Thank you Dr. Van Beever!
