Welcome to Forget Me Not Dog Training, located in Clovis, NM providing canine behavior evaluation services and obedience training to the surrounding areas. My training style is a little different from your typical «dog trainer» because my program is one on one, in your dogs home environment and personally tailored to meet the individual needs of your dog. Besides teaching the basics necessary to create a healthy balanced furry family member I also specialize in behavioral issues and «difficult to train» cases.

History

Established in 2012.

I began this adventure when I found myself in a situation where my own dogs decided that they were arch enemies out of the blue. I searched for someone to help me understand and teach me why as well as how I could help them coexist in the same household… and found nobody who could help me. So they became my inspiration to begin this training program and help others who feel like there are no other options that there IS hope. I am that someone who is willing to commit to helping you create a private, one on one training program in YOUR home to suit all your training goals!

Business Owner

My name is Lori Knapp and I have always had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember. With my love of animals I’ve worked in many capacities of animal health and welfare ranging from an animal control officer, volunteering with various animal rescues and fostering animals in need as they came my way. After doing these things I came to realize that one of the biggest reasons dogs were coming into shelters and being re-​homed was because of behavior issues.

Through my research I found John Van Olden with Canine Trade Group and enrolled in his extensive training program. His training course is based off of a Cynopraxic approach to dog training which focuses on the «whole dog» and gave me hands on experience with several dogs with various behavioral issues. I believe every dog has the capability to be an amazing dog, we as their people just have to let them know what is expected of them. I can’t wait to help you and your dog transform your bond into a memorable, long lasting relation
