Erwins Pest Control

I signed up with Erwins because my neighbor bragged about how great they were. The service has been mediocre at best. I still have some spiderwebs around the outside of my house and I’ve had the same wasp nest in front of my house for at least 6 months. I left Clark to go to Erwins and I miss the fact that Clark would call before coming out to service my property. Apparently with Erwins you have to request a call ahead. I wanted to support the local company, but they just didn’t earn my business. Oh, watch out for their contract, cancelling a month early because I wasn’t satisfied with their service would have cost me a $ 100 cancellation fee.

They are wonderful! I have been using them now for maybe 5 – 6 months. They are the best. They are professional, they call before they show up and my roach problems actually disappears for about a month after their services. Jimmy is the best. He always plays with my pets when he comes. And the good news is that the spray isn’t harmful to pets so they don’t have to leave everytime they come.
I highly recommend them.

I no longer use these guys, Complained about black widows specifically. They came to spray and 2 days later I was on my back patio where I told them about the black widows and I walked right through the web with two HUGE black widows. Also, in my service they are suppose to remove webs around the outside. I could see webs forming for months on my upper windows in the kitchen just outside. I hired Morse and they removed them beautifully. I used to use Morse years ago. Glad to be doing business with them again. BTW I am not trying to rain on their perfect Unilocal reviews, I am just being honest about my experience. I know how hard it is for companies to find good help. I did have conversations with these guys about my needs. My needs were not met. Nor my expectations.

Privately owned and dedicated. Very impressed with prices, service and professionalism. Don’t call a large company, call these guys and get it done right.

One word, AMAZING!
The winter weather and lack of sun brought a terrible ant problem indoors. We had ants in the living room, bathroom, and kitchen. I thought the problem was never going to end and was referred to Erwin’s by another friend.
There is so much to say about Erwin’s. The first impression was wonderful because I called the day before New Year’s Eve and spoke with Rob. He answered the call himself and I was already impressed after waiting for days to hear back from Orkin. Rob informed me of everything he would do to take action and reassured me that my very spoiled dog would be safe. I told him I wanted to talk to my boyfriend about the price and he wasn’t rude in anyway or pressuring me to stay on the phone to get my business. Rob was nice enough to come out the next day on New Year’s Eve and even asked to come out early in case I had NYE plans.
Rob came out for the initial meeting and to familiarize himself with his customers. Right off he informed us that our house was not in his treatment area and another one of his employees would be helping us. When that time came, a letter including the employee’s name, picture, and nice personal information was delivered to us. It told us that he had kids, length of time employed with Erwin’s, etc.
Soon after, their office sent a hand written thank you card for being a new customer. BIg impression in my book as my parents always made us write thank you notes. Gratitude is always noticed!
The office is always good about calling ahead for my monthly exterior treatment. This is important as I wouldn’t want any accidents to happen to my dog. I’ve heard sad stories of pets lost when gates are left open.
Recently, we started working on the yard and have disrupted the ants again. We found more ants returning to the kitchen and asked Erwin’s to come out again and the treated the walls without charge. The nicest part was that it’s spring vacation and our service man was on vacation, so Rob told us he would be out the next day himself! My boyfriend and I have always enjoyed their service and this personal trip out of Rob’s way was an added pleasure.
This local, self-​owned company is the way to go!

My family has been clients of Erwin’s Pest Control for 10 years. They are prompt, professional, and thorough. I recently had a problem with a pest and called him. He came the next morning and the problem was taken care of. I would highly recommend Erwin’s Pest Control to anyone.

I called and spoke with Rob who was very helpful. They came out the same afternoon that I called and spent time talking to me and making suggestions. They were very friendly, helpful and professional. They have completely resolved an ant problem that has been around for years!

I have used the services for about 5 years now and can’t speak highly enough about what a great company this is. I no longer see spiders, ants or roaches inside my home. The family business is run by really good people and really easy to work with.

based on the other reviews, I called this company and spoke with rob, about a pretty bad rat infestation under my house. he was super nice, gave me plenty of time and a number of suggestions, and if my own attempts don’t work, i’ll for sure get back to him for whatever he can do. fyi — a number of interesting and funny «rat control» u-​tube videos out there for those of you with a similar problem — I’m going to try the traps that rob recommended, even thou I don’t want to deal with dead rat bodies, but also am tired of the little buggers setting up their man-​caves in my basement… big screen t.v. and all, I bet.

I agree with Allison. They seem like a great company. Called about roof rats and he told me my options that included using him or what to get at the store myself.
I called him at the store with a question and he even called me back with a tip! Crazy good service without asking for a cent.
I’m going to use these guys for sure in the future.

I called to get an exterminator for rats in the attic. They discussed my options over the phone and recommended things I could try myself without paying for someone to go out to the house. The person I talked to was super friendly and saved me some money.

When I had a bug infestation in my bedroom, my first response was to call one of the larger companies. Terminix offers «free estimates» but only if you’re going to pay them to do the job? Orkin said they’ll have their people call me back after hearing about my problem and they never called back.
I did call a local company in the past and they just sprayed around the area which killed the bugs but it did not get rid of them. So I finally got desperate and called Erwins Pest Control.
They’re a family-​owned business and very friendly people. Instead of doing guesswork, they sent out a specialist who came out to inspect the surrounding area and collect some samples, he spent about 30 minutes at my home. Two days later, they sent another specialist out to explain to me what the insects were and he pulled out light switches and power outlet covers to show me where my problems were coming from. He spent about 45 minutes in my home and this was all just a free estimate with no obligations whatsoever.
I was shocked to learn that the estimate was only $ 40 to eliminate the problem (compared to the Terminix price of about $ 125 just to spray around the area). Well, he came back the next and did it and my problems were all gone.
They are very professional, the two guys (probably the only two guys that work there) were funny and approachable. No tattoos, noserings, gang markings, and etc. They didn’t smell bad or use foul language. Just think of middle-​aged college professors in clean mechanic’s clothing.
The part I liked most is that they didn’t try to sell anything, it was like they came to address your concerns and that was it, didn’t try to push a monthly package or anything of that sort. They both talked a lot and explained everything which made us feel very comfortable.
