Clear Water Pool Service

Gave one star because I couldn’t give zero. Stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company. Very unpleasant company. The Unilocal has them located at closter, but you will also notice a River Edge address when searching them on the internet. The owners Shawn and his brother are extremely rude and ignorant. Your experience with this company will be filled with a lot of B/​S and empty promises. The owners are very unprofessional and never do a complete job.
The company closed my pool last year and clearly did not blow out all the lines on my heater. When I opened my pool this year, my heater was leaking everywhere. I immediately called my plumber and later a Hayward authorized dealer who both confirmed the crack in the Heat Exchange Coil was due to improper winterizing of my heater. I spent over two weeks contacting Clearwater to get them to come check it out. Shawn was ignoring all my calls. I called him from a different line, which he answered. Once I explained it was me, he hung up and hasn’t answered a call from me since. Could not be more dissatisfied!

I normally don’t write reviews especially for a pool company. I had opened my swimming pool myself with a help of a friend. My filter did not seem to work properly so I called them to see if they can just come and take a look and to see if repairs were needed. First they told me they are in the busy season and said I have to pay the pool opening cost regardless if the pool was open or not. I agreed since I wanted to get the pool up and running. I called to see what time they were coming so I can ask some questions regarding maintenance and to see what the problem was. The person called back was extremely rude and sounded irritated. Then he told me they are there to open the pool not make service calls. I told him that I spoke with someone there and explained my situation and said they would come down if I paid the opening cost. He said we don;t do that and just hung up on me. Do not I repeat do not use this place for your pool. They are very unprofessional. If they had told me that they did not do service calls I would have looked elsewhere.

I called this company by mistake and what a disaster. They spent less than 15 minutes opening my in ground pool and charged 300.00. They left several pool cover anchors sticking up out of the ground and never even opened my filter to see if it was clean. I called to complain and I was told that was the going rate (with an attitude)

Very pleasant people to deal with. They show up when they’re supposed to. George is very knowledgable and professional. The owner George will get on the phone with you to discuss all issues.

Unreliable, unprofessional, DO NOT USE.
Schedule appointment over one week before. I confirmed appt again, the night before. I called again the hour before appt, they stated might or might not be there. Called again about 1 hour after schedule appt, they stated they might get there later today. Never heard from them again. Thats fine bc was able to find another servicing company in the area that are more professional. Must be busy or DONT CARE, my guess the latter.
