We are a veteran owned outdoor casual/​technical apparel and gear outfitter located on the charming Brick Streets in historic Olde Towne Clinton, MS. Paxton Peak is run by a outdoor/​adventure loving couple, Beth & Nate Shores of Clinton, MS.

Meet the Business Owner

Beth and Nate S.

Business Owner

Beth has always loved being an entrepreneur since a tot, she was raised in a family run balloon business «Mr. Charlie Balloons.» She spent most summers and weekends camping, trekking, or traveling with her family or with Boy Scout Explorer Post 359, which she founded through her local church. She went to MSU for Retail Floristry Management, and in 2007, was co-​creator/​owner of the very successful «The FrogHead Grill» and in 2010 «The Irish Frog.» In 2014, Beth and her husband, Nate, opened «Paxton Peak.» Nate is a Belhaven University Graduate, combat Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and has traveled through out the U.S. and overseas. Trips to the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Appalachian Mountains, California’s Sierra Nevada Range and several expeditions overseas, have given Nate a wide range of experience with multiple types of equipment and terrains. Nate and Beth Shores will provide the Clinton, MS area with outdoor lifestyle casual and technical apparel and equipment.
