Good selection of quality dog treats & good staff.

A little over priced (compared to petsmart) but great service, very friendly and knowledgeable.

I love this store. The customer service you get will well out weight anything negative. I have smelled worse at mall pet stores, they are clean, friendly, and for an island store reasonable priced.

You basic old-​fashioned pet store that smells a little bit like pee (but not in a bad way). Big variety of smalls rodents and reptiles. Staff was friendly. Great place to run in and buy treats when we’re island hopping with our dog.

This is the only ‘big’ pet supply store on the south end. And that pretty much determines where you get your pet items. This was before I found out about the co-​op store in Freeland.
Critters and Co. has live animals; fish, cats/​kittens, birds, reptiles, and rodents up for adoption. Nothing too exotic such as ferrets. In the back there’s grooming services and they offer boarding for your dogs and cats. I wouldn’t recommend doing that though. Although it’s inexpensive your pet won’t get much attention or care. They pretty much keep the animal in the same room they work to care for the birds. When I had gone to pick up our dog there was a small pile of shavings and bird feathers on the top of the dog crate.
As for food and treats they do ok. I still ended up going all the way north to Oak Harbor to get the Nurtro brand. ‘Till I discovered the Co-​op store.
For basic needs it not that bad, but you may find it difficult to find specialty items since it’s a basic pet store and there’s not much to choose from. Although I do believe they’ll do special orders for you.
