So lucky to have this salon right down the road. My favorites are Stacy(hair), Pam(facials), and Rosalie(nails). Very friendly staff, convenient parking, great hours, and just overall a nice atmosphere. My husband also has his hair cut there. Big fans of Aveda and big fans of this particular salon!

If you want a really good haircut get Katy. She’s as good as it gets. I had my hair cut today and I went from a bob to a short style. I just love it. Do not hesitate to call for an appointment with her. I promise you’ll be happy!

I love this place. I have been loyal to them for the last 6 years, which is a huge deal for me. In the past I have tended to go to a salon for a year or two, then seek out something different. This place has everything that I want. It is fairly small and intimate, but also warm and inviting. It’s also nice to be able to do some shopping at Partridge Creek before/after my appointments. I cannot imagine going any place else.

I want to start this review by saying I have really difficult hair. It’s very thick and curly. I went to Lyndsey to get my hair washed and flat ironed. It’s not easy but I have had several Aveda stylists that have been able to do it successfully. I can also do it but I’m too lazy :) Lyndsey is really nice but I don’t think she has much experiences with ethnic, textured hair. My hair was really frizzy when I left. It wasn’t flat ironed very well. I had to come home and redo it. Mid way through I asked if she would be able to curl the ends under. She said she didn’t think putting more heat on it would be good. Which is fine but it seemed more like she was in a hurry to finish. Further, I had to come home and run my flat iron through a lot more to make it look ok… so it kind of defeats the purpose of not putting more heat. I paid $ 45 for it and I don’t think it was worth it. I also give people fair warning about my difficult hair when I call to make an appointment. I told her I usually need two hours. The woman on the phone really wasn’t listening to me and Lyndsey had to half ass it to finish in time. Lyndsey, however, is very nice and I’m sure she can do other types of hair well. If you have curly hair, I would probably go somewhere else.

I have been visiting this full service salon for the past few years. They do a great job with hair. I’ve had highlights, lowlights and haircuts. Products exist to accomodate my gluten allergy. Michelle does a fantastic job with the pure focus facial, eyebrow shaping and especially manicures. It would be nice to have the option of a massage pedicure chair — since they just have bench seating. They carry OPI color polish for a quality turnout. This location is nice because you can shop in the outdoor mall before or after your appointment if so desired.

I’ve been going to Stephen James salon at Partridge Creek for a few years now for facials and eyebrow waxing from Heather. This is an AVEDA salon so only AVEDA products are used. Since getting regular facials, I’ve had fewer breakouts and my makeup lasts longer on my face. Heather is great at what she does and cares about her clients. If you’re looking for a great place for facials or waxing, I really recommend this place. I haven’t had any other types of services(i.e. hair or other spa services) so I can only comment on their aesthetics — highly recommended!

Terrible customer service. I bought a bunch of gift certificates for eartthday last year and the girls that were donating their service were gone for a few months on maternity. When I finally got an appointment to use my gift cert., just shy of a year from when I bought them, they called me a day before the appointment and told me I can’t use my gift cert because it was from 11 months ago. Alice the manager is a liar because she said they would let me use them because the girls were gone for so long. These people are delusional if they think people who have been loyal to their business since they opened, will be treated like this. I will say Katy is awesome at color and cuts, but with customer service like that from the«store manager», I’ll take my chances at one of the millions of other salons in the metro detroit area.

Its an upscale Aveda salon where you can pamper yourself at a reasonable price. You can get the full ride here: haircuts, color, style, up-dos, make-up, manicures, pedicures, massage, facials and hair removal. They also have a store where you can buy the products if you want. I usually go for a facial because I have and e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y wrok schedule and don’t have the time to do it at home with my MK products. The prices are reasonable, just look over the list for what you want. You don’t have to get what they recommend if you don’t want.
