Small tick in rating for the large amount of Made in _​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​ (not in USA) products. i would pay more if it was made here and would like to see that in a store like this.

Stopped by this place the other day to pick up a zip-​top canvas bag to carry some camping gear and was pleasantly surprised.
All the other surplus stores I’ve visited in the past seem to cater to a certain type of person, and if you’re not one of those kind of people, you get ignored and talked down to. I know they’re not ALL like this, but that’s just my experience. Well, this place is the exception.
I called them up before I went in to ask if a bag was in stock, but unfortunately got their voicemail. However, a cheerful young lady called me back within about 5 minutes apologizing for missing the call and asked what she could assist with. I went over what I was looking for and she happily accommodated.
Once I arrived, the woman I spoke with promptly dropped what she was doing to personally walk me over to the section that contained the bags I was looking for. She went so far as to open 2 different sizes for me so I could see the difference and make the right choice.
After that, we got to chatting a bit about what it was needed for, etc… Just a little small talk — a welcome change from the usual places.
I took a look around the store to see if there was anything else I could use and found several items that were of interest, and at very, very reasonable prices, too!
If I need anything else army surplus-​related, I’ll be sure to go to this place.

Decent surplus military items, plus some American made and Made-​in-​China new stuff.
Clothing items and sleeping bags, as well as personal tactical gear appear to be the bulk of the military surplus offerings. I noticed other tactical gear was sourced out of a manufacturer in Washington state. Remember those heavy frag vests? They have em!
They had a decent selection of military themed t-​shirts, as well as military caps, pins, stickers and license plate frames. There was a display case with assorted knives, but I didn’t pay much attention to see if any were authentic.
Some camping supplies were available, from tents to cots to firestarters, portable pocket saws, etc.
5% off to military veterans. MREs are priced at 10 bucks each.
I’m not particularly a fan of Chinese made paraphernalia, so I generally just walk on by. I saw some black BDUs, but when I pulled them out to take a look, I noticed ‘made in China’ on the tag. They had a selection of black safety toe work boots, but upon careful inspection (even though the box covers said ‘supplier to America’s military’), I found that they were also ‘made in China’. Sorry, if I want to buy made in China, there’s a Walmart willing to take my American dollars in exchange.
