Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Clinton Township

This is a Lowes that is on our way when we run errands. We have been here several times. Every time that we have needs something out of the routine done for us the staff here raises to the occasion. Specifically the guys in lighting and in paint. We like this one enough to come here even when it isn’t convenient.

The employees here are so hit and miss. I’ve had outstanding help from a few people. Yesterday I had a group of 3 employees standing around talking and I stopped for help. One of the guys treated me like a total idiot. I even asked him why every other person I’ve spoken too about my floor gave me a different answer than he did and he rolled his eyes. Not appreciated. I walked away while he was still talking, since he was speaking to me like I was a silly woman who didn’t know anything. When I walked away one of the other guys that was with him came after me. He showed me exactly what I needed that would do exactly what I wanted. It did exist and it was totally doable. By that time I had already decided not to spend my money on flooring at Lowe’s. This isn’t the first time I’ve had conflicting advice here. When they are helpful they’re outstanding but the inconsistency sends me to other stores.

I do a ton of business here and they are great. My most recent purchase was new carpeting for my staircase. There was a royal screw up when the installation company double booked appointments for 2 installs at the same time. My install window was noon — 2. I had to track down the company only to find out they wouldn’t be there until 3pm. Then it was 4pm. Finally they showed up at 4:30. I wasn’t happy but felt bad for the installers as they were double booked too! Lowe’s called me the next week and offered a $ 25 gift card for the inconvenience. They also talked to their install vendor to make sure that they call the customer to let them know about the push in time earlier vs having the customer track them down when they don’t show on time.

Went to look for a ceiling fan and found the perfect one. I had been looking for one that was both modern and futuristic looking and couldn’t find one at Home Depot or any other lighting stores. I’m a happy camper!

Good experience today. Walked in and found what I was looking for via the helpful employees. Window Wells, a Dehumidifier at a reasonable price, A respirator, and some other safety gear to clean up water damage in the basement and install the things outside. I got a 2 year replacement plan on the Dehumidifier because A. it was a brand I wasn’t familiar with, and because I was told if anything acts up they just mail me a gift card for the full replacement value. That’s killer considering most retailers will sell you a plan that repairs the device or swaps it out in the future not guaranteeing the price you paid originally.

I can’t tell you how many times i’ve been at a loss for where to buy something that didn’t quite fit into the department store category or not quite lumberyard scale that I have found at Lowe’s. They run the gamut on power tools, hand tools, lighting, plumbing. I honestly feel that you could build an entire house from the stuff here and then furnish it. The store is big enough that you could probably build that house somewhere near the garden area and nobody would notice. ;)
Staff here actually knows where stuff is, even if it’s not in their area so if someone asks ‘can I help you?’, it’s not an empty promise, they will, in fact, help you.
Come in and get lost for an hour, you’ll thank yourself that you did.

the people are GREAT here! Never had ANY issues with them and they are SO helpful. I know NOTHING about anything building but they’re always able to dumb it down for me.
Im always sent on errands cause no one feels like going and if i dont go it doesnt get down. Always the one who has NO clue yet is sent. Anyways going here i never worry cause the employees always work with me and help me.

I love this Lowe’s. I could spend hours in there. Tons of great home improvement products, wide aisles, and extremely friendly staff.
They have much more than just paint and tools. Garden items, rugs, hardware, appliances, cleaning supplies.. .you name it!
For a girl like me who loves to demo and then pretty the house up.. this is heaven!

The closer of home improvement centers to my house, and so I tend to stop here a little more frequently than the orange-​colored one.
Good selection, decent prices, and I find, on average, that the people here are a little more friendly, helpful, and more importantly knowledgable than at the other place.
And for a complete idiot like me who doesn’t know the difference between a bevel and a level, that’s important :)

I stop in here probably once a month or so. They have a great selection of home improvement items, for both inside and outside the home.
Military discount continues to be offered.

This lowe’s has always had helpful staff which seems to be employed there for quite a while, which is always a good sign. I do all my home improvement shopping at this store.

Helpful staff most of the time. Sometimes they are lacking or give bad information.
