The sales staff was knowledgable and attentive to my needs. My oil and vinegar gifts were packaged and decorated perfectly for the holidays. I also bought some for myself! I’ll definitely be back.

Love this place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Could wander around and taste their products for hours. Lots to try. Creative flavors. Helpful hints. Had an amazing pear vinegar last time that knocked my socks off. It’s fun to watch people come in and sample. The oohs and ahhs. Price is very reasonable. Go try it even if not a fan of olive oil or vinegar. I was a skeptic at first too.

A nice store at the Mall at Partridge Creek. First off, the staff I encountered on a nice, warm, sunny March Saturday afternoon was wonderful They were very cordial, knowledgeable about their product, and very accommodating. The oils and vinegars are fantastic! During yesterday’s visit, I learned that I really like balsamic vinegars, especially flavored ones. After reading a nice article in the Macomb Daily newspaper, I just knew I had to try them out sometime. The news article explained that they have samples of each olive oil available for tasting right in the store. Self serve — just walk up, grab a sample cup and pour a little. I never even thought to drink olive oil, because I always relegated it to cooking(kinda like taking a swig of vegetable oil — doesn’t sound too appealing). I settled on their Arbosana 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, May 2013 Harvest from Chile. I never knew that there were different kinds of olive oil, besides virgin and extra virgin. They carry 11 regional extra virgin olive oils. They also carry 14 flavored extra virgin olive oil, as well as 4 specialty oils. I sampled 2 or 3. They weren’t anything like taking a drink of water, no, they were more like drinking … oil, I suppose. Balsamic Vinegars — whoa! They carry light and dark varieties. I found that I am a fan of the flavored dark balsamic vinegars. I mean, I actually enjoyed the different vinegars, sipping away at the samples. I finally chose to take home a bottle of Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar(grape must, red wine vinegar), They bottle your selection and cork it, placing a seal over the top. A first class operation all the way around. Besides the 3 different bottle sizes available, they also have a sampler 6-pack for $ 25. You simply decide which oils and vinegars you would like to purchase and they fill little(maybe 4 ounces?) bottles with your favorites and you are on your way. A perfect gift idea for that special someone. Of special interest to Eastsiders — I understand they are planning to open a 2nd location in the Grosse Pointes very soon. I asked and a 10% military discount was offered. Thanx Giuseppe’s!

Absolutely love this place. Giuseppe’s offers flavored extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars… really good ones, at that. Prices are very fair. I really enjoy cooking and grilling… kind of like therapy for me… so being able to experiment with different flavors(some exotic, some basic) is exciting. One of my favorites is a Chipotle oil that simply goes great on grilled vegetables. Though the oils and vinegars are great, what really makes this place is their commitment to helping the customer. Not only do you get to sample each and every oil/vinegar, but they really walk you through pairings and food suggestions… even going so far as having recipes available. If you’re into cooking ATALL, this is a place you need to visit. They do it right and they take their time with you.
