In our dining room and lounge we specialize in great steaks (hand cut to order), Seafood and Chicken dishes for both the hearty eater and someone looking for light fare and pub menu. We also have awesome juicy burgers, wings, delicious salads, large selection of beer, wine and cocktails… and we still bake our dinner rolls fresh every single day.

We are well known for our Weddings, Parties, Event Planning and of course our family style dinners. We have many types of banquet menus to choose from including buffets, luncheons, breakfast, brunch, plated meals and hors d’oeurvres parties.

History

Established in 1973.

The Quarry Steak House is nestled at the bottom of a real rock quarry in Climax, NY… in the Township of Coxsackie, not far from other oddly named towns such as Surprise, Gayhead, Freehold and at one time Result, which was ironically right next to Surprise… really!

We’re not kidding & we’re all very proud of our little towns too.

«Coxsackie» originally spelled Kochs Hackie is an Indian word meaning «Hoot of the Owl»)Let’s not even think of the origin of the other towns names!)
