History

Established in 2011.

…Clifton Dance Academy is owned by Virginia and originally began through VA Spa & Salon, offering fitness classes that morphed into dance classes for all ages. Virginia’s sister, April joined CDA sharing her expertise in Dance. The two sisters saw a need for more classes, therefore other teachers were hired for Glee Voice & Musical Theatre, Group Guitar, Learn to Draw Art, Cheer & Pom, and more. For Virginia, the journey was a life long goal… to own & operate a dance studio with her sister April.

Meet the Manager

Manager

April majored in Dance, took a leap of faith because she believed in herself… opening up a Preschool & Elementary Performing Arts School similar to «FAME». This Performing Arts School specialized in quality education as well as all the performing arts such as dance, theatre, art & music. She owned & operated this school for more than 10 years.

Thereafter, she owned & operated 6 dance studios specializing in dance & drama for another 15 years. During these 25 years she formed 11 Competition Teams, competing against other top dance studios. Her kids competed throughout the West Coast to Las Vegas, NV winning first, second & third places, trophies wherever they went.

She is now with us in Clifton, VA ready and willing to teach dance again to those who want to learn. She brings more than 25 years of experience in dance instruction, drama and performing arts to you!
