I have been using Bartlett’s for 30 years. They alway provide beautiful flowers for our holiday tables and bouquets for special occasions and celebrations

The owner has old school Americana charm. She was very efficient and when I stated the occasion she directed me to the designer. She asked a few questions and her knowledge of her craft was evident. I told her my wife’s favorite flowers and I was told to come by in as little as 20 minutes if I wanted and they would have my gift for my wife’s special day ready for me.
I arrived about an hour later and walked in and the ladies were attending to another customer. Same line of questioning was asked to the women who was having an event later in the week. She had nothing but great accolades to state about the shop. I stated I was the gentleman that called for my wife and they went to the back to get my order.
When she arrived it was more than I envisioned it was exquisite. From beginning to end a pleasant experience. A hidden little gem. I will be back!!!

If you want a magnificent arrangement for any occasion that will last for weeks on end, this is the place to go. You will pay for it, but it will be worth it. I received many baskets & floral arrangements for my mother’s wake recently. I encouraged everyone to take them home or make small bouquets from the standing arrangements. They all lasted for weeks & gave everyone such great pleasure. (They bill you later. They only accept checks or cash.)

Nancy was amazingly patient and helpful as we chose flowers for our loved one’s funeral. Beautiful arrangements, fresh, fresh flowers — so impressed with the quality of the flowers — just stunning! Thank you for not letting us down!

The perfect little flower shop. A true GEM! I’ve lived in Clifton all my life and have always passed the shop but have never gone inside. A few months ago my friend used them for her wedding and I was blown away with the centerpieces, at a very reasonable price may I add. So I took a trip and was so excited with how fresh the flowers were, the sweetness of the staff & the adorable cute pre-​made bouquets! I’ve always complained there aren’t any flower shops in Clifton that you can walk into and get a unique bouquet but not anymore! :)
Ps I didn’t know it’s cash only & they said «no problem you can come back tomorrow or mail a check» — this is unheard of anymore!

Cannot say enough great things about Marietta and Barletts. From the first time I walked into the shop totally clueless about flowers for my wedding to the minute before I walked down the aisle with my father– they were amazing. Centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely beautiful and elegantly done. Would recommend to anyone for wedding or any special occasion!!!

The flowers for my engagement party, shower, and most importantly our wedding were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The bouquets and table centerpieces were the talk of the night at the wedding and I am still getting compliments weeks later. All of the workers at Bartlett’s did such an amazing job.

This place is a real gem. Maryanne and Skip are very nice and helpful, she is a great designer and he is a helpful horticulturist. They always have a nice selection of flowers, arrangements, and they have a healthy good plant stock as well. I would recommend it for any of your botanical needs trust me, I’m a tough critic.

I had the flowers for my wedding done by Bartlett’s and they turned out amazing! I loved my bouquet and my bridesmaids, they really enhanced our dresses and were totally beautiful. The church and reception arrangements were perfect. Marietta made sure everything was perfect and she is a great person to work with and really treated us like family.
The church runner, flower girl basket, and ring pillow were also beautiful and everything was delivered promptly where it needed to be and I was worry free.
I can’t recommend Bartlett’s enouph.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for Mother’s Day flowers. We wanted potted plants that would last and they had a wonderful selection. We picked a perennial and annual and went to pay with credit card, but they only accepted cash. The saleswoman, who had already been incredibly patient in assisting us as we made our selection and beautifully wrapped the pots, gave us an envelope and told us we could put a check in the mail. Customer service like this does not exist anymore and, the next time I need flowers, I’ll be heading there even though it means a longer drive. I also appreciated that they had a range of plants and arrangements in the under $ 50 price range — our two plants totaled under $ 30. I’d highly recommend this florist — quality, selection and, especially, customer service like theirs is hard to find these days.

I came in on my way to a party, hosted in my honor. I needed a nice gift for the hostess, and the woman helped me pick out a beautiful potted plant. I didn’t have any cash and they don’t take cards, so she let me leave on an IOU! This was a life saver, as I was desperate.

For over 75 years, this award-​winning family owned business is still going strong. Twenty-​five years ago (Marietta & Judy) created the most gorgeous theme of arrangements for our wedding. I’m not really a flower person so I gave them full reign after giving them my budget, colors and our personality characteristics. Everything was imported since the only merchandise grown on site are garden plants and vegetables. Landscapers from all over the state are vendors and they also have an exclusive contract with the Meadowlands. You will not find flowers anywhere else that hold up longer than theirs. Try them once and you will forever be a customer.
Parking can be difficult but you could park on the street opposite the shop.

My family and I have been using Barlett’s for years. They consistently create the most beautiful arrangements. They have impeccable taste and listen very carefully to instructions and preferences while always staying within your price range and budget. I can’t count how many times people who’ve received their flowers from me tell me that they’re the most beautiful arrangement they’ve ever received. They always leave a lasting impression. Two arrangements I’ve had made for my Mother she talks about to this day — they were perfect for her. I know several Montclair businesses who only use Bartlett’s for their events and gifts as well. The staff is wonderfully friendly; the customer service is excellent. It’s everything a local florist should be — but with taste and elegance as good as any high-​end NY florist. I love them.

I came in here quickly in a pinch to buy flowers for a party. I was shocked at how inexpensive these beautiful flowers were here. The service was quick and friendly without being nosy, and they wrapped the flowers up in pretty paper. I will definitely come back here again, once the spring time returns so that I can plant some greenery in my yard.
It’s located in an odd location on Grove Street. Not much parking, from what I could tell, but if you can get yourself there, it’s great!
