The Poultry Hatchery is a New York State Certified Poultry Hatchery. We specialize in hatching day old chicks, ducks, turkeys, game birds, pheasants and more.

The Poultry Hatchery was started a few years ago as a farmstead to mainly supply healthy, organic, natural, local food to our own table; the demand for our chickens and produce quickly outstripped our supply. We found friends and family clamoring for the extra we produced so each year we have offered more selection and quantity to meet the demands.

The Poultry Hatchery also found people everywhere we went who were interested in supporting our efforts by preparing their meals with locally grown and produced foods. Focusing on pasture raised chickens, pastured heritage turkeys, open range pastured eggs and a small subscription CSA effort full of heirloom and Ark of Taste varieties, and we are continuing to grow.

History

Established in 2005.

As a leader in the area of raising poultry, our commitment to keeping avian disease out NYS flocks is the key reason that we are members of the National Poultry Improvement Program. A&J Farms Domani Ranch invites beginners and poultry enthusiasts alike to contact us with any questions regarding starting or raising your own flock or any other questions you may have.

The Poultry Hatchery also known to many as A&J Farms Domani Ranch offers over 200 different breeds of Day Old Bantams, Chicks, Ducks, Turkeys, Guineas, Geese, Pheasants and Poultry Supplies. We are a family owned and operated Christian Faith based business with morals and the attitude of «As God Indented». The Poultry Hatchery is based in upstate New York, in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region and amongst many wineries. Our customers order poultry for many different reasons such as self-​sustainability, egg production (Rural, Urban, and Commercial) and even those that participate in 4-​H programs (Showing Poultry), FFA, or just the Backyard Chicken Enthusiast.
