Persnickety’s Card & Gift

There are a few options for coffee in the Clifton Park area including the coffee/​espresso bar (C’est Le Bean) inside Persnickety’s Gift Shop in the Village Plaza (Hannaford). When I need my coffee fix, it’s usually a toss up between Starbucks and Persnickety’s Gift Shop located across the parking lot. I have to admit I go to Starbucks more often because its location is closer to the road. Persnickety’s is a great alternative from my usual everyday brew since I can get Starbucks anywhere I go.
Persnickety’s Gift Shop specializes in handcrafted gifts, gift baskets, jewelry, knick knacks, trinkets, candles, cards, spa/​bath items, fine chocolates, coffees, and teas. They offer around 20 kinds of roasted coffee blends and flavors from around the world including Jamaican, Zimbabwe, Sumatra, French Roast, and Kenya, plus flavored coffees (Chocolate Raspberry Crème, German Chocolate, and Orange Cappuccino), and more.
I stop in here for the iced coffee/​espresso drinks and fresh brewed hot coffee, usually 4 brews all ready to go including a flavor of the day coffee. I like the Snickerdoodle and Hawaiian Coconut flavored brews. Besides coffee drinks, they sell fresh baked goods, desserts, cookies, and muffins. Friendly service each time! There’s table seating to chill and enjoy your beverage and pastry. The coffee is just right, not too weak or too strong. In the summer, an iced mocha goes down pretty good after a long hot day at the Track.
