I went to Jack’s in an emergency, and even though they really didnt have time they took my car and fixed the mount on the motor in hours (they even stayed late on a weekend to make sure it got done.) I’ll be returning for any work I need done from now on!

Awesome place honest and professional business would definetely recommend to anyone in need. They go above and beyond to meet expectation.

I took my car in to Jack’s to get it re-​inspected after it failed its intial inspection. Aras got to the bottom of the inspection issue and found nothing wrong from the initial computer read from the state inspection facility. He also tightened my differential support (for free!) which solved a loud banging noise every time I switched my car from reverse to drive. The service was excellent and Aras also provided other estimates for work that he suggested. I am extremely pleased with the service!

Replaced alternator; service was straight forward and simple, price is fair and the work done is excellent. Aras was kind enough to take care of the stiff gear change stick and fixed without charge. Very very satisfying and trustworthy. Henry is a very good mechanic.

Finally!!! This place is amazing. Every member of the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable. Although they are always busy (which is a great sign) Aras and the rest of the staff too their time explaining everything that was wrong with the car. Finally a trustworthy mechanic, I had an awesome experience. Aras and Henry, you’re the best!

This place has good mechanics, they do work quick & the prices are very fair. The guy in charge, Aras is very professional and he is very nice. If you need work on your car, bring it to jacks. They won’t disappoint you.

My car failed inspection a few weeks ago, and I got a flat this afternoon, so I brought my car in to Jack’s, based on fact that it’s a NJ licensed emissions repair facility as well as having good Unilocal reviews.
Aras got on top of things right away, having the tire checked (including unmounting it to inspect the damage inside from driving it flat until I pulled over). They fixed the leak at the valve stem, checked out the other tires, and without pressuring me, suggested that rather than replacing one tire, showed why another should be replaced soon, and suggesting that if I get two matching tires, to put those up front so the drive wheel tires match. I’ll be going back next week to have them replaced.
He also explained how the inspection issue was due to the computer not getting enough data from the emissions system (I haven’t driven it much since it was last repaired), showing the computer output and all, and providing a very fair estimate for the tire replacement, mounting, balancing, disposal, and reinspection.
My usual local mechanic closed up shop recently, and if my initial experience is indicative, I’ve found my new «my guy».

I’m new in town and couldn’t be more grateful for Unilocal recommendations about Aras @ Jack’s Auto Service. They stay busy which is a good sign that they offer amazing service. Most importantly they are honest went in with a power steering leak and they went over and beyond to guarantee that their work was done right. Aras not only replaced my power steering pump, but he wasn’t happy with the new pump BC it was making a noise (that I couldn’t hear) so he went out of his way to order a new factory pump and reinstall. Not just any mechanic will tell you that they can hear something that only a trained ear can hear. All in all, with a business ethic like theirs, they will be in business for years to come, and I will be a devote loyal customer.

Finally, a trustworthy mechanic! Aras is the best. He will give you his honest opinion and do everything he can to make sure you get the best deal. He even helped my mom sell my car while I was in Hawaii! Now that’s service. I would definitely recommend this place!

One of the best auto repair shops in the north jersey area hands down! I bought a 2001 jeep truck over a year ago which was in mint condition from engine to body and still runs great! Couldn’t be any happier with the purchase and the service you get from a great friendly staff! I been coming to jacks auto repair for quite awhile now, and I must say they are the BEST!!! I strongly recommend this place for** engine, tire or oil issues etc there isn’t any better then jacks auto. Very friendly and outstanding staff. I know I’m going to be regular for life.
